Very good, nice country location, lovely views, and a pleasant stay, but avoid the room at the far left-hand end (North West?) of the B&B accommodation block if you are sensitive to mains electrical hums. Next to this room is a large collection of separate...More

Probably one of the best campsites I've been too. Massive pitches, and 3 different play areas for kids, wonderful woodland walks. The added bonus was The Old Shed cafe. Had a burger in there which was absolutely amazing. Will def be coming back again.

It is roughly the distance from there mentioned above. If you are intending to arrive by train please be aware the station is a good distance away (3 miles or so) and there is an infrequent bus route to the town and then that doesn't stop near the site your best bet would be a taxi, and at night it is dark there so take a torch and there is no on site restaurant so you might have to book a taxi to get to the pub I'm afraid. Although fish and chip van visits once a week.
