Let's start by explaining this is not a review against the staff, they are wonderful and very helpful and certainly understanding. I stayed here along with my brothers for a get together and a good walk in the lovely surrounding countryside.Hotel is comfortable with rooms being very pleasant.Ate here at night and the food and service was good.The Rose and Crown across the road is a fantastic real ale pub with good live music

The room is large and comgortable. Clean, well decorated and warm. Large TV with a few satellite channels. Though it wasn't possible to keep the window open, just a minor fix needed there.
