This is the first hotel to stop during road trip from Bangkok to Chiang Mai. My first impression is not good because building itself look like old apartment and the entrance is very look very old style. However price is cheap and room itself is OK. The breakfast is inclusive which is quite good compare to price paid. Location is near by big department store and it is on the main road then easy to fine.

This place is clinical but efficient. The rooms are clean, the beds comfortable, the staff professional and parking fantastic. This is a great place to stop for a night on the way through but don't expect a warm feeling when you stay. It felt like going for your yearly medical checkup. The big pluses are that the breakfast is outstanding and they accept dogs for 200bt. We were happy staying here and will come back but will get a room at the front next time because the back rooms face sewerage tanks which it impossible to open your terrace door due to the terrible smell.

4th time here. Everything s just fine like usual.
Good price, good location, good service, plenty of parking, clean room and safty.
If you are looking for a place where you can sleep well with no worry of security, Maihom is a right choice around here.

It's good for the price. Room covers the basics and is comfortable. 2 bottles of drinking water daily. Extensive breakfast buffet but only local food of course. 100% of guests are Thai. Staff are very friendly. Centrally located.

Nice hotel just off of the main highway going through Nakon Sawan. Clean room, comfortable bed and good breakfast included at a good price too. Perfect place for us to stay on our drive to Kanchanaburi from Chiang Mai. We also recommended this hotel to our friends who were travelling from Chiang Mai to the south.

This is my third time here. Everything is just fine. Cheap price, clean room, room with balcony, good service, good location. Breakfast is ok: thai dishes (congee soup with pork is tasty :))bread, ham and sausage.

Nice place - quiet, clean, good staff, great location.
A bit difficult to find but worth the search - close to many restaurants and the lake district - nice coffee shop that unfortunately doesn't understand that people need coffee early in the morning as they open late in the day.

The hotel itself is ok. Rooms are clean, staff friendly and helpful. Room service is a bit sloppy as they did not empty the room trash. Breakfast is included and is a mix of 90% local fare with sunny side eggs, ham and mystery meat sausages.
Here's the really important stuff. DON'T get room facing the front!!!!!
There's a night club just in front of the hotel and the pounding bass permeates even the high floors.
Other than that...it's a nice place to crash for the money.

Having stayed in various types of accommodation all over Thailand down the years, I rate this hotel as right at the top of the list for value. I know this doesn't help the normal visitor to Thailand as Nakhon Sawan is unlikely to be on your itinerary of places to visit. However, if you do have to visit Nakhon Sawan for any reason at all then you should definitely consider the '' Mai Hom Resort .'' On five visits over the past 5 years I have never been disappointed.
There are now two hotels with a new one being recently built, but this review is about the older hotel of the two.
Address in English: 112/373 Daowadueng Road, Amphoe Muang, Nakhon Sawan
Address in Thai for the taxi driver: ไม้หอมรีสอร์ท 112/373 ถนนดาวดึงส์อใมอง จในครสวรรค
The hotel sits on a rather spacious plot of land with reception being at the end of the rather pleasant tree covered way entrance. The rooms are situated where the main reception is based and all the way down the entrance drive that leads to the reception.
The rooms are terrific, spacious and pristine clean with beautiful ceramic tiled floors. The decorating is of neutral colours that match the furnishings superbly well and the furnishings somehow always manage to retain the look of having just been purchased. The beds are a nice size, very comfortable and the room has a terrific writing-table and chair - very important. Furthermore there is a television with English channels as well as Thai and a good-sized fridge for essential drinks and food. The bathroom is very well equipped with a good shower and all other essential facilities.
Remembering that you are not really in a tourist area should stand you in good stead for breakfast. By that I mean that the choice of food is mostly Thai. They do an American type breakfast, but to be quite honest the Thai food is far better. There is also plenty of coffee on offer. Breakfast is not included with the room price, but with dishes running at approximately 3 U.S dollars, it barely notices. You may need to ask for a translation of the menu as according to my memory it's written in Thai. Furthermore, being in a non tourist area will give the non Thais a good opportunity to try out their Thai language skills and this is surely what true travel is about.
If you don't fancy breakfast then there is a 7-11 store virtually right outside the hotel. It's a win-win situation.
The lobby area is spacious and the staff on reception very friendly and helpful. There are comfortable seats to relax in whilst having a snack at the lobby area shop. There is also a lovely smiling lady with a fresh coffee stall who makes a very nice cappuccino or something more cooler to suit the heat, if you want.
The incredible price of the room was about 10 British pounds or just over 15 U.S dollars, it's terrific value.
From the Mai Hom Resort hotel ; just turn right on your way out of the hotel entrance and keep walking along that road. You are then literally no more than 10 minutes on foot from the shopping centre and morning / night local markets. You are less than 5 minutes from them if you jump on one of the roam around 10 baht taxis. To be honest though shops and vendor stalls start appearing all around you as soon as you leave the hotel entrance.
To go to the Uthayan Sawan park, come out of the hotel entrance by turning right, walk about 2 minutes and not too far after is a 7-11 convenience store, then turn right again just after the 7-11 store and the park is at the bottom of that road. In my opinion it's one of the best parks in Thailand

We did not look for any other hotel but decided to come
back to this place again. The hotel is new and clean.
The room is spacious with tile floor and is equipped with
a refrigerator, not a mini-bar so you can stock the food
stuff as much as you can. Limited toiletteries but this is
no problem as the room rate is not expensive. Free wifi
in every room. A wide selection of breakfast buffet is
included in your room rate of Baht 700 net per one
double/twin room. Our 2nd trip we had two connecting
rooms and were allocated the same rooms as requested.
We left a pair of glasses in our room when checking out.
We telephoned the Hotel half an hour later to report this
and were informed that the Housekeeping staff found this .
We all like the Hotel and will stay here every trip to
Nakhon Sawan as all the staff is so polite and helpful.
