Located at the entrance of Mae Chaem village, this charming family guesthouse was a pleasant discovery. Although it is situated on the main road, it is nested on a gentle hill and feels secluded. The amazing garden is filled with plants and art made from recycled objects. The reception area is nicely decorated with many family souvenirs and it is...

The room and grounds around this inn are so beautiful! Most comfortable bed we had in our entire 3 weeks in Thailand. The breakfast was also very tasty, filling, and served on the very pleasant porch. Mae Chaem is such a quiet, authentic town, we had a lovely stay.

Offering beautiful rooms in a charming house , We stayed here for one night . Very comfortable spacious rooms with great wifi and greenery surrounding. It was in a good, quiet location close to the city. The room was very clean & the bedding was comfortable. The whole place had a cozy feel to it! The bathrooms were also kept...

Lovely guesthouse for our last night stay in Mae Chaem - Chaem Muang House, unique decorations everywhere and surround by beautiful flower plant and tree. We have a good breakfast early in the morning at 7am because we need to check out early. We would like to come back again and spend two nights here. Will be back!

One of the nicest b&b experiences. Spent one night passing through on the way south. The room we had was clean and simple, nothing more and nothing less. But Chaem Muang House itself is a real gem - a beautiful wooden house in the midst of a a lush garden. Friendly owners, excellent breakfast. Will return for sure.

This boutique guest house came highly recommended buy our friend and local guide Bammie. We were not disappointed. It has the feel of a home stay but you are do have your own privacy. The rooms are medium sized, clean and well serviced. The breakfasts are good with Thai and western options. The owner "Penkhae" is a wonderfull lady and...

We have made a motorbike trip from Chiang Mai and stayed there two nights. Rooms are cosy but without fridge and little small. However owner's smile and charm gains a few notches above average service in Thailand. The first evening the landlord brought us the wine glasses notices our bottle of wine on a table on terrace. We asked for...

If we had more days in our holiday, we would have stayed longer. As it was, we thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay. The place strikes me as a really tastefully decorated home, rather than a hotel or even b&b. I fully agree with all the prior English reviews, so will not repeat their message but will add one thing. The...

Mae chaem house could only be described as a beautiful boutique B & B. Set in a magnificent established garden this small establishment of only four rooms is a real find. While a little expensive by local regional guesthouse standards at 1200 B per night it is well worth it and a cut above the norm. The rooms are large,...

My recent visit to Mae Chaem allowed me to notice a few upcoming resorts and little hotels, most owned and operated by locals. Unsurprisingly as tourism has grown so fast, there are more people expanding their journey in some areas around the famous Chiang Mai. So, Mae Chaem could be one of the easy destination. Last Saturday was my second...
