Unfortunately our 3 nights stay at Coconut Beach Resort were disappointing. During our 10 days in Samoa this was the most expensive accommodation but the poorest service. While the location and the whole resort looks absolutely stunning and is also well looked the service we got at this place is disappointing. The staff was not aware of special dietary requirements...

My daughter & I have just returned from 7 nights of relaxation at Coconuts. We stayed in a comfortable Treehouse room complete with Air Con & ceiling fan. Our upstairs room had a lovely outlook across the gardens and out to the water. I had to pinch myself each morning when I opened the blinds and saw the view. Even...

We spent six wonderful nights at Coconuts (2 adults and 2 children). We stayed in Fale B which is a 2 bedroom beach Fale. It was spacious and had a real authentic Samoan feel. The beach and pool facilities was great, and my two boys went out surfing daily in the boat out front with Neil at Manoa tours who...

We spent 7 days at Coconuts Beach Club in Samoa with 2 adult children and partners. It was the perfect combination of doing nothing and sunning one self while reading to swimming, snorkling or turtle watching and touring a fascinating island with old lava tunnels filled with fresh water to swim in or, visiting a recently active volcano. The Staff...

Our first trip to Samoa and we totally got our accommodation choice right!! We stayed in a beautiful, clean and spacious treehouse that had everything that we needed; we loved that it was culturally sensitive in the design and decor. We asked to see a beach fale and overwater fale while we were there and both were impressive! Staying during...

My husband and I spent seven wonderful days at Coconuts and honestly from the moment we got there they couldn't do enough for us. We stayed in Fale Lina the over the water Fale, furthest from the beach. We have always wanted to stay over the water and we loved this style of accommodation. The fales look even better on...

Beautiful place by the ocean. We went here for a day trip. We were not welcomed with the famous samoan open heart. Here they were not very friendly to be honest... You can come here and visit the restaurant and pay for drinks and food, no problem. But you cannot stay in their empty beachbeds and not use their pool....

Talofa Susanne, Thank you for stopping by on your day trip. It sounds like you were happy with everything except the fact that you could not use our pool facilities. I'm very sorry but because we are a fairly small resort, we have to restrict the use of the pool facilities to only guests that are staying with us or...

Just dropped in for lunch while staying next door. Coconuts had exactly what we were hankering for, seafood soup. Teamed it up with garlic bread - delicious! Friendly staff and amazing beachfront dining. (Nice, clean bathrooms too which is always a bonus).

Just spent 6 nights here. 3 in Beach Fale and 3 in overwater Fale. Loved our time here and the staff were amazing from restaurant to rooms and gardeners. Great location and facilities. The food menu could do with a spruce up, fewer dishes, made simpler might help. Highly recommend.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Coconuts Beach Club Resort & Spa truly embodies all that is unique and wonderful about culturally-rich Samoa. Coconuts offers Samoan-inspired accommodations, including Samoa's only Over-the-Water Fales, and is ideally situated on Upolu's southern coast, boasting amazing sunrise and sunset views. There are no high rises, no phones, and no TV's. Perfectly located to explore all of the island's sites and experiences, Coconuts offers many of the facilities and services you would expect from a much larger resort, with the heart and soul of a small, intimate retreat. With a warm and friendly staff, and surrounded by a traditional village, Coconuts provides a true taste of Samoa. ... more   less
