Very good hotel very close to Camaldoli. Staff super friendly and gorgeous location. If you get the half board make sure to eat light for lunch because dinner is delicious, but remember the menu is fixed and you can't have many variations. Overall a very good experience , perfect for families

We were walking from Florence to Rome on the Via Frangicena di San Francesco in September. We originally had reservations at Dei Baroni Hotel in Camldoli, a neighboring town. Because of some religious tour visiting the Monastary Camaldoli the Dei Baroni was full. The hotel Tre Baroni sent a taxi to the Eremo Camaldoli to pick us up and take...

A wonderful hotel with absolutely wonderful staff !!! We were looking for quiet time in October, meeting Italian people and not only tourists, good food and wine, nature ,relaxation ,and all this we found in Moggiona(Poppi) in this fabulous hotel. We stayed 12 days and used it as a " base camp" as well ,to explore all the beautiful little...

The staff at this hotel is absolutely fantastic and helpful with everything you need. The hotel itself is in a wonderful location within the national park. There are hiking trails that you can start at the property or close by depending on your interests. The restaurant serves well presented tuscan dishes with an original twist. They have a great wine...

Dear Sobesand, thank you for your review. The Casentino Valley is charming and full of amazing things to see: from the National Park we are in to the stunning castle. A so nice scenery deserve the best service once could give: this is what we try to do! Both as a restaurant with the quality of food and as service....

Classic family hotel. Very nice place in the middle of Tusscany mountains. I wasn´ t so lucky about the weather so I couldn´t try the pool. But it looked very nice and clean. So were the rooms. The place itself is little bit spooky at night. Very pleasant staff. I LOVED the food. Perfect for a romatic weekend.

Dear Anys007, thank you very much for your review. We are really happy you enjoyed our Borgo and our services even if not lucky with the weather...the only solution is that we wait for you in summer so you will also have the chance to try our pool and have a sunbath in the panoramic terrace. Thank you very much...

Although this hotel is listed as being in Poppi, it is actually located in the hamlet of Moggiona, about 10 km north east of the centre of Poppi, on the Strada Provinciale 67, Via Camaldoli. Google maps shows the hotel as located in Avena, but that is wrong. You need to travel through Avena about 5 km more upwards into...

Traditional style family run hotel in a stunning setting. Nothing was too much trouble and everybody involved was very friendly. The food was excellent, including the complimentary snacks and delicious home made breads with meals. We also enjoyed the hotel's own wines. It's the perfect place to stay for relaxation and to take in the history and sights of Poppi...

We had a lovely stay in this hotel, in the middle of a national park. We picked the best time to come as the beautiful autumn colours were stunning. All the staff were so helpful and friendly, the dinners were some of the best we'd tasted during our travels around Tuscany. And the breakfast.... I would have been the size...

This resort is an amazing oasis just outside of Poppi. Typical Tuscan villa with beautiful and spacious rooms. Excellent restaurant with inexpensive local food and wines. Breakfast included. Would recommend as a one or two night stay. As it is beside a valley the local church bells do resonate all night as do the wild boars.
