Stayed here with the family, all I can say was wow!!! Plenty space, quiet, peaceful but what makes this special??? Tammy goes above and beyond in being friendly and helpful. A full kitchen, bbq area, and within walking distance of shops and beach. Very very clean, beds very comfortable. Very happy to stay here. Love this place.

We visited Kaslo as a spontaneous last minute vacation and found True Blue Lodge online. It was just for one night and we didn’t expect much. But wow this is a gem, we had the two bedrooms unit. It has a fully equipped kitchen, a lounge, dining area, nice bathroom with combination of bath and shower, and two beautifully decorated rooms, one with queen bed, the other a double bed. We were a little apprehensive as it is pet friendly and one of us has asthma. However the whole place is super super clean, thumbs up for the cleaning staffs. Beds and pillows are very comfortable, the bathroom is spacious with strong hot shower, fluffy towel, lots of it, and nice shampoo. The TV is connected to Netflix. The outside area has swing, BBQ set, apple trees and nice yard. Parking is road side parking. The location is close to the town centre and the lake front. Unfortunately we arrived late after water rafting at Slocan river and left early for Cody Cave Tours so didn’t get to enjoy much of this little gem. It is obvious the owner / manager care passionately about this place. We wish we had booked two nights here instead of staying the second night at Kootenay Lake View Hotel.
Just one comment about the double bed in the second bedroom. It is very comfortable but quite small. We are a family of four but the two teenagers are very small sized so it fit nicely, but it will not sleep comfortably for two big adults. Just something to bear in mind.

This is our second visit. It is comfortable, relaxing, and a romantic atmosphere.
The appointments are excellent. The courtyard is quaint. And the proximity to everything is perfect.
Kaslo is a great place for adventure and True Blue Lodge is a perfect place to stay.

The #3 cabin was the best accommodation of our 2 week vacation. The cabin was beautifully designed with a separate bedroom, beautiful kitchen, living room and bathroom. Great outside space with barbeque, tables, chairs, firepit etc. The bed and linens were better than at home!
A short two block walk to downtown Nakusp to enjoy the lake, shopping, restaurants and bars.
Thank you to the management for all your help.
We will be back.

This is truly a wonderful place to stay! The rooms are warm and inviting. Immaculately kept. The bed was so comfortable, I felt well rested in the morning. Only a hop, skip and jump from the beach and downtown. My Boxer dog was welcomed too, he loved staying there! Tammy (the owner) was absolutely wonderful, always available and very helpful! I highly recommend this jewel of the Kootenay mountains!

Love this place in the heart of Kaslo. Our cabin was clean, cozy, and quiet. Just what we were looking for. Our hosts were awesome. Thank you Tammy and Bruce for being such gracious hosts and for sharing this great little retreat in such a beautiful location! We also loved being close enough to walk to everything!!

A great spot to relax after a day of travelling and visiting family. There were a group of seven of us, traveling for a family wedding. We were in Cabins 1 and 2 - cabin 1 had 2 bedrooms, and cabin 2 and one. Great kitchen facilities for preparing dinner and breakfast (all the basic kitchen supplies and equipment were available)t. Our hosts, Tammy and Bruce, were very hospitable and friendly. The cabins were very clean, and the beds were really comfortable - the linens were lovely! The court yard was very inviting - we enjoyed having a BBQ one evening, and relaxing around the fire pit both nights of our stay - there was lots of split wood available, and we took advantage of it!. A great place to stay in Kaslo - we highly recommend it, and would definitely stay there again.

Highly recommend these cozy cottages to anyone travelling to Kaslo. We stayed in cottage 3, which was a great one bedroom perfect for a couple.
Great location, super clean, and every little detail taken care of. Very thankful for the free laundry room, wifi, and big shower with great water pressure.
Sarah was an excellent host. Definitely will stay here again if we are back in the area!

Staying over for one night in September, we were pleasantly surprised by the True Blue Lodge. Though located right in town, there's a private feel to this place. The cabins are in a large yard that is shielded from the street by trees and has picnic tables, lounge chairs and a BBQ. Cabin #3 was spacious and very clean, recently updated and tastefully furnished. There's a TV, full modern kitchen and heated floors. The main drag is a 2 minute walk away, where there are several pubs and restaurants to choose from, including a poutine stand.
