The bottom line is TERRIBLY Expensive, AWEFULL Path to reach the place and nice view. NOT WORTHY AT ALL! It was a family trip to All around the Dominican Rep. looking for different places and experiences. I have to admit that this was one of the worst ones we dealt with in our journey. First off, after a long way...

We have been at El Cabito 4 years ago and we were stunned by the beauty of this place. The former manager (name no disclosed) genius when it comes to host people, had the magic touch to make you feel in a secret little place in the middle of the jungle (yeah, it is jungle no matter what other people...

As each trip to the DR results in more excursions, my last trip during March 2016, we made our way out to Las Galeras just to eat at El Cabito. Having the luxury of staying with a local in Las Terrenas, he suggested this day trip. I loved everything about Las Galeras, the windy ride in through the mountains was...

The restaurant is situated on a cliff overlooking the ocean. In the whale season you can see whales breach here. Some are brave to dive from cliff. The food is absolutely the very best in the area with a beautiful presentation!

Wonderful dinner. Initially you get a view of the animals including chickens and goats and he beautiful flora and fauna. Then onto the most beautiful dining deck overlook the ocean these eyes have ever laid on. Told that the sunset views are spectacular, we were a bit glum that the sky was overcast. Yet we still were granted a peak...

We walked to El Cabito restaurant from Las Galeras. A beautiful 50 minute walk along the water most of the way. We arrived for sunset and were simply enchanted by this gorgeous setting. We had great mojitos to watch the sun disappear and then ordered the squid and conch dinners. Everything was fresh and delicious. The servers were excellent as...

My husband and I shared a succulent 3 lb lobster with grilled vegis. Friendly wait staff, an excellent chef and views that defy description made an intensely lovely evening. Our food was served gracefully and efficiently. If you are in Las Galeras, don't miss experiencing the meal, friendliness and view of El Cabito.

We just stopped in for drinks and the view, the trip is worth it, when you visit you will know what I am talking about. Just follow the signs and don't stop until you get there and don't doubt yourself just keep going, it's worth the trip and it's an adventure.

We stopped at this restaurant perched on the side of a cliff for lunch. The setting has a great view and the whole property is in a natural, unobtrusive setting. It melts in a magical way into the surrounding habitat. You can also stay there, which we did not do. Lots of paella on the menu, which it is known...
