Thank you to Fiona and all the staff for such a welcoming stay. It was lovely to be escorted to the room, so rare these days. The room was well thought out, especially the en-suite and the cleanest we have experienced so far. Fiona and the team's Scottish hospitality was second to none. Others could do well to learn from...

While the rooms are small (partly necessitated by the lovely old building they are in), they are clean and modern and very well appointed; our room on the second floor had a wonderful view of the harbour. Like the rooms, the breakfast selection was small but perfectly-proportioned - easier to put together a satisfying breakfast than in many large hotels...

The hotel and restaurant is very dated. Extremely uncomfortable bed. Room was very hot. Beautiful location and view from the room. Breakfast was very poor. Evening meal was bland and unappetizing which was unfortunate as we had been during the summer in 2014 and it was lovely, hence the reason we went back for our anniversary. We won't be going...

I stayed at the Ship for one night and thoroughly enjoyed it. The view out of my room window was fantastic and the room itself spotless and clean. I had a lovely meal and the waiting staff were very friendly and chatty. I was able to get a parking place opposite the hotel on the quayside as being February it...

We stayed here for 1 night whilst in Stonehaven for a concert and found it to be a great little place. The room was clean, modern and comfortable with everything that we needed for our stay. The staff were friendly and the hotel was right on the harbour which was nice for taking walks in the morning and evening.

Nice, but very over priced, no facilities. Excellent Inn, Poor Hotel! Clearly this is an Inn, with no facilities other than breakfast and stunning views, if you have a shore side room. Pleasant and amenable staff.

A lovely, friendly, clean hotel. Great location although the view we had from our room at the back was not great. The staff were very helpful and accommodating and there was good and varied breakfast that was included in the price. We had an evening meal in the bar area as the restaurant was full, this was very good with...
