This is the first time I have stayed here and I enjoyed it very much. The staff are very friendly, welcoming and professional. The breakfast was nice, fresh and plentiful with lots of choices. I had dinner in the captains rest, which is part of it, I have eaten here on 3 or 4 previous occasions and the food is...

We've been going into The Ship for occasional dinners for three or four years now, as we only live round the corner but, after the sour-faced and downright rudeness of one of the staff to us and our guests on Sunday, we won't be doing so again. My wife and I, plus our two-year-old girl, and two friends, plus their...

As usual, there are two sides to every story. The events as related by Mr Young occurred on Sunday 16th November, but the story actually started the evening before (strange that this detail was omitted from Mr Young's account!). On the Saturday early evening, Mr and Mrs Young were also asked - politely - to keep the children under control...

I had some business meetings in Aberdeen but wanted to stay outside the city centre during my stay there. I had previously stayed at The Ship and had no doubts about returning. The location of the hotel is fabulous being situated directly on the harbour, with beautiful sun rises in the morning and sun sets in the evening. The rooms...

I decided to stay at The Ship Inn after a "drinking visit" in February 2014. As I hoped everything was great , good clean Room and friendly staff. Breakfast was great - I could have what I wanted freshly cooked. I will definitely stay again - Thanks

I had the good fortune to be booked into this hotel for a recent business trip. Very comfortable and clean room, friendly staff and fantastic food to choose from the menu all helped to make this a very enjoyable stay. Would definitely stay again7

We stayed only for one night at the family room (with Harbour view), comfortable room, everything we needed and absolut silent during te night. The dinner was excellent (have in mind to make a reservation also outside the season) as well as the Service. Same for the breakfast. As we had also a perfect weather during our short stay it...

Stayed at the Ship Inn for three nights whilst working in the area. Had cabin room 2 - single room. Quite bijou but cosy and srviceable for my needs with a work desk and a harbour view. Breakfast is very good with a good choice of food. Evening meals very tasty.

We had a one night stay combined with a dinner to round off a business discussion. The room was comfortable although rather soulless, with a good view of the harbour, the bathroom was clean and well equipped. There was no noise at night, so all in all it was fine for what we needed. The food was excellent, good selection...

I had lunch with three friends and our main course was good and freshly cooked. Two of us had the cajun spiced haddock goujons which were nice but not especially spicy. The sweet I ordered was White Chocolate and Lime Mousse, it was tasteless, not even a hint of lime apart from a slice on top and it was so...

Having stayed in Aberdeen over the past several years on business trips, I decided to try something different. The travel from Stonehaven to Aberdeen is a short one and involves a short taxi ride to the train station, not much to ask really. The Hotel is part of the beautiful harbour side Ship Inn, in itself a very well presented...
