Stayed here in October 2016 for a family wedding, the couple that run the B&B are lovely and nothing is too much trouble for them. The rooms are very clean and decorated well. The breakfast was fantastic with many options to choose from. A perfect place to stay for trips to Stonehaven and Aberdeen.

This B&B was recommended by the Scottish Tourist organisation. What a magnificent establishment. The room was spacious with a modern ensuite. The bed was huge and very comfortable. The view from our window was across rolling field with a resteraunt jus seen in the distance, a short car ride away. Our hosts were very friendly with Ron driving along the...

After a long day including a flight cancellation and messed up rental car arrangements, we finally arrived at Schonwald at about 9:30 pm. We had not yet had supper so stopped at a small grocery on the way. Ron and Christine welcomed us home like family and insisted on heating up the food we had bought and serving it to...

Absolutely wonderful B&B tucked into the beautiful country setting in Northern Scotland. My husband and I arrived slightly run down from our travels from Canada, and were brought back to life by the warm welcome and hospitality of hosts Christine and Ron. This B&B is everything one could hope for while away from home- close to Stonehaven and Aberdeen, Castle...

Back from the road but well worth the visit. Plenty of parking space for visitors and a warm welcome from Ron and Christine. We had a comfortable modern room with fabulous en suite, WiFi etc. Excellent choice of breakfast provided in a bright family dining room. Certainly the best B & B we have experienced and would have no hesitation...

I wish that the proprietors of every other B&B I have ever stayed in could come here to see how it should be done. Christine and Ron are excellent hosts and have designed everything to make it feel like a home away from home. Very clever design made me feel like I was the only one there, even though they...
