Our overnight stay with Michelle and David was the start of a driving tour of northern Scotland. We could not have started better. We received a warm welcome, had a clean and comfortabe room, enjoyed a gourmet breakfast and had the chance to see the farm operations. We enjoyed talking with Michelle, and she and David treated us like old...

We stayed at Michelle and David's Chapel of Barras Farm B&B in order to celebrate New Years in Stonehaven. We were immediately impressed with the amazingly well appointed room and the hospitality with which we were met. No detail has been left untouched, our room was extremely comfortable and impeccably clean. There was coffee and tea service in the room...

Wonderfully friendly, warm and welcoming. Spotless and very comfortable. Invitingly decorated with a modern touch in a traditional farmhouse setting. We have NO complaints. Can we suggest a choice of cup or mug on tea tray. Yes, I could have asked and I'm sure it would have been no trouble to our hosts who were hospitality personified, but just a...

We only stayed one night as this was how our itinerary worked. We would have stayed for longer if we had known what a gem of a B and B this is. The hosts, Michelle and David were very friendly and helpful. The room was a delight and Michelle had made raspberry muffins to have with the tea/coffee that was...

A little B&B in the middle of several acres of farmland. The place is very tidy and welcoming, and the people who run the place were very kind. The room we had was in perfect condition, and the owners even had a complementary dessert waiting for us. Breakfast was superb. Everything on the table came from local products; some of...
