Tariri was precisely what we were looking for an in an Amazon "adventure." Fabiola and Germano were excellent hosts, the lodge is big enough to be comfortable and capable, but small enough that the guests feel more like friends and family than customers. Our sweet spot for what we were looking for was pretty tight - we didn't want a...

Germano and Fabiola are amazing! Fabiola's food is great! The small details make a huge difference and it was a factor for us to really like this place! Tours were great....attention was outstanding... Germanos' knowledge of the area was eyeopening....our "lodge" was really comfortable. Thanks for an amazing time!

We just came back from our stay at Tariri. It was absolutely wonderful. The place is owned and run by Germano and Fabiola, along with their extended family. Germano is a fantastic guide, extremely knowledgeable about the Amazon and the area. The excursions that he led by boat or the walk through the forest were very informative and fun. He...

This is a family run lodge on the Rio Negro. It is run by Germano and Fabiola and their family. The warmth and hospitality of this lodge are evident from the moment you contact them via email and it only gets better when you get there. The cabins are rustic, but perfectly good for being out in the forest. The...

Difficult to know where to begin! As with many other reviewers, we found Tariri to be an incredible experience and so much more than we had anticipated at the outset. The location and accommodations surpassed our expectations, but what really makes this place exceptional is the warmth and service provided by Fabiola, Germano and the rest of the family members...

Admittedly, I was a bit reluctant to book at the rustic accommodations of Tariri Amazon Lodge, thinking I preferred a place with more amenities, such as a pool. I am so happy we went with Tariri! The small setting (10 guest rooms), family feel (a lodge but also a family's home) and incredible hospitality of Germano, Fabiola and the staff...

A wonderful family run lodge on a quiet part of the Rio Negro. It feels like you are further into the jungle than you actually are then you realise that there aren't many birds or monkeys around suggesting the presence of humans around. Comparisons with the Pantanal are unfair but there was far more wildlife when we went to the...

The warmest reception we have received in Brazil! The lodge is a family business and is the vision of hosts Fabiola and Germano. It is set amongst the banks of the river in complete peace and tranquility. The lodgings are wooden huts on stilts with fully functioning bathrooms, showers and comfortable beds. The food is served three times daily and...

We were here for our honeymoon and had an incredible time. I'm sure there are more "authentic" ways to take in the Amazon, but for those with no experience of the place will find it a good gateway to richer adventures in the region. What you get is extremely fulfilling. Germano and Fabiola make a great wife-husband team, the tours...

Tariri was exactly what we needed - beautiful surroundings, plentiful, delicious food, relaxed, varied, and interesting activities, no phone, internet, television...Reminded me so much of Maine lake lodges where I vacationed as a child, even down to the dinner bell, just reinterpreted for the Amazon. Germano and Fabiola have done an incredible job creating the Tariri experience, especially considering the...
