We booked on Expedia, the facility was not at all what was presented online. The photos were very deceiving. There was a muddy wet culvert at the front door that you had to get over. The hotel did not have our reservation when we tried to check-in. We were told the rate was much less than what we had booked online. We were unable to find a wifi signal. The stairwell was dark and reeked of something like paint thinner. The "balcony" was rusty with chipped concrete, there is no way we would have set foot on it. An odd extra kitchen sink was in a side room. We went in search of (and found) an alternative in town.

Le Samana Colca est un hotel situé à proximité de la cathédrale, de restaurants sympas ( le Hatunpa par exemple). Personnel charmant. Notre chambre était impeccable, à l'écart du bruit de la rue . N'hésitez pas à y séjourner

El hotel Samana es un hotel nuevo, recien terminado de construir de 4 pisos, con habitaciones muy bonitas, cuenta con agua caliente, television con cable, las personas q trabajan son muy amables, y el precio en relacion a la calidad es muy bueno, esta a 2 cuadras del mercado, y a 4 de la plaza de armas de chivay, es muy tranquilo en las noches, definitivamente regresare. Muy recomendable. Cuentan con desayuno en el restauran Innkass Inn q se encuentra en la misma plaza de armas, atencion de primera y buen trato al turista extranjero y nacional
