We had a 3 night stay at Pachamama. They were very helpful arranging transportation from Puno. We got picked up at our hotel and took the 4M bus to Chivay and then took the local bus to Cabanaconde Manu was a great guy giving us suggestions of what to do and where to go. We were all set to hike...

We stayed in a double bedroom with shared bathroom. It's slightly more expensive than other places nearby but looks worth it. The food is good too and the staff are friendly. The best bit for us was the confidence they gave us for self-guided trekking into the canyon. We were unsure despite reading lots of blogs. The staff here gave...

A great choice to spend few nights, magnific service and friendly owners.offer bikes to rent and ride around town or even visit the "LA Cruz del Condor". They have a roof terrace with books to read and chill during warm season, nice bar with a great selection of pisco",wines or beers. Incredible food menu, all prepared by a lovely chef and the whole...

I stayed here with my boyfriend for a night either side of trekking the Colca Canyon. The double room at 90 soles was comfy with an OK shower but still minimal compared to other places at similar price in Peru. You could probably save money and go elsewhere. The pizza was yummy, but you don't stay in a hostel here...

The Pachamama is one of those places where everything and everyone comes together. Great people. Great owners and great food. We stayed here for two nights and ended up having a great time. Our kids had great fun with the cat Tomboy and the dog. Pachamama is a great place to start your Colca adventures! Pro tip: when eating pick...

Great getaway from the hustle and bustle of Peruvian cities. Hostel Pachamama was a great base point for trekking and had super wonderful English speaking staff to help with all your needs. They also look like they really enjoy their jobs which is nice to see. Have their food. You won't regret it. My only thing was the amount of...

Owner Manu is very friendly and helped us sort things out when we were left stranded in Cabanaconde by Oasis Palmeras tour company who didn’t have room for us on their bus The bed was one of the most comfortable we’ve stayed in and has a real duvet instead of those itchy heavy blankets most places give you. Hot shower....

We travelled independently to the Colca Canyon with plans for a 2 day hike but no reservations, except the first night at Pachamama. We arrived by bus in the late afternoon and were greeted warmly by the staff at Pachamama who provided us with all the information and a map for the hike, plus tons of advice on which routes...

Best place to stay in Cabanaconde when visiting the Colca Canyon. Manu was great with helping us with the questions we had about our trek and helped make us a plan for our couple days in the Canyon. The food at Pachamama was incredible. The pizza was delicious and the rest of the menu was extensive and impressive. The rooms...

Pachamama was an excellent place to start our trek. The room was clean and had lots of blankets to stay warm at night. The food was delicious and the pisco was plentiful! Also, Manu was really helpful before we left holding a little orientation meeting and helping people going to the same places team up. We had a great time...
