Larantuka Beach Apartments are located on the Beach with wonderfull Sea Views overlooking Andonara Island and Larantuka Straights. We have Beach Bungalow / Beach House and Beach Boat House. We also are active PADI Diving & Snorkeling Resort with daily Boat Trips. We also have Tour Travel office with staff to help choose your Tour of local area.
This is the first time going to Larantuka and stay at this guest house. The staff are friendly, can speak English and very helpful even Pedro 6yo-boy, Mrs Maria's son. They treat all the guests like their own family, serving during meals, cleaning the room and facilities. It really feels like home, and we can not find this sensation other places. In front of our room we can see a beatiful ocean and Adonara island.

Maria (host) speaks great English and has created a simple sanctuary beachfront with breakfast provided. We stayed 3 nights. Neat and tidy rooms with air con and fridge. Dinner is order from a local venue and delivered. Pick up from airport available.

A great stay, Hostess Maria is a lovely lady. The accommodation was excellent. Right on the beach, and in a quiet location, back from the main road. There are three ‘rooms’ to choose from, one family unit, with three bedrooms, kitchen, eating area and bathroom. Another one consists of one queen bed, in a huge bedroom, with a huge bathroom as well. The third is on a boat, but the boat is not on the water. They are all very tastefully furnished and decorated.

Maria is a great host. She and her staff made our stay very pleasant. The room is spacious and it has a large bathroom. You have direct access to the beach. You have a fridge and watercooker. They can arrange dinner for you at home. Nice breakfast included. This is really a unspoiled spot in the very east of Flores

Larantuka Beach Appartments is a fabulous place to stay. Why? Because hosts Maria and Chris, and their lovely staff, make you feel so welcome. We did not want to leave. We ate delicious meals, drank beautiful coffee and enjoyed great conversation woth Maria and Chris. They shared a wealth of information with us about local attractions and culture. We really enjoyed visiting Danau Asmara. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Spotlessly clean, everything worked perfectly and our hosts and staff really made us feel welcome.

We spent a week here and just felt sorry for not staying longer. The location is great, right on the sea front with a beautiful view to Adonara island. The room was excellent, large and very clean, with wi-fi, TV, air-conditioner, kettle, coffee and tea. And, above all, Chris, Maria and all the staff are the really great hosts. It was great to meet them and to spend time with them. We did some very interesting tours with them: Lake Asmara / Tangjung Bunga, traditional villages Kawaliwu & Ile Padung, hot water on a beach, old Larantuka, Wureh in Adonara island (including great snorkelling over there). Hope to come back and have some more adventures together! In addition, Chris and Maria are doing a great efford to raise awareness on littering, which is not and easy task in a country giving the first steps on this matter. Keep up with the great work!

Chris is a great host, storytellers, and a vast history buff of the Region, a wealth of info And perfectly suited to accompany you, wish we coups stay langer to have a more extensive trip to one of the earliest settlements of the Portugese

Usually we are not writing reviews, but this place we can recommend by heart.
In November 2016 we spent 3 nights at Larantuka Beach Appartements.
Maria and Chris invested a lot of time and love in their place. All over their area there are playfully decorated elements about marine life and they care about a very clean beach.
The most exciting point of our appartement - we didn't sleept in an appartement, but inside a real old fishing boat that they landed some times ago. It was very clean including TV and AC. However there is also the possibility to stay in a normal Beach Hause.
Moreover, one day we did snorkeling at a reef in front of Adonara with Chris and saw beautiful corals and tausends of fishes. Furthermore, Chris and Maria can tell you a lot about the history of Larantuka and the Islands.
All the evenings Maria and her crew prepared delicious meals.
All in all, we spent a great time, saw a beautiful area and praticed some Indonesian and at the end we paid a very resonable price.
We wish all the best to the crew and can just recommand this place.

I could not have enjoyed my stay at Larantuka Beach more. I had the bungalow by the beach and it was so comfortable and clean. Great bathroom. The location on the beach is spectacular. The staff very friendly and helpful. Food was great. And interesting to talk and find out information about the area from the hotel owners. I wish I could have stayed longer. Thanks

We stopped at Larantuka Beach Apartments for two nights. It's a fantastic spot with coral right out in front. Very clean apartments and serves beautiful food. Excellent hosts and I don't think you'd find a better spot to stay in Larantuka!
