We had a wondeful one week stay.
1) Sunset Guest House has a really good location, close to the city center and the sea; it is a convenient location to visit nearby beaches and other touristic sites.
2) The place is neat, and cosy. It feels like home away from home. It was safe, and quiet place. We had parking space near the house and it was great.
3) The hosts, Anthoula & Nikolla are very nice, helpful and funny.
Highly recommend!

The Sunset Guest House is the most charming, friendly and welcoming place I've ever stayed in. I stayed here with my brother on a family holiday in Himare and from the outset, Anthoula and Niko treated us like royalty. With such kind and friendly hosts, the atmosphere was inevitably a delight, and it was a genuine pleasure to mix with others who were staying there (over some excellent coffee and raki), as well as Anthoula and Niko. It is ideally situated, less than five minutes on foot to the centre of Himare, with a spectacular view of the surrounding landscape and mountains . In fact, anywhere in the town is within walking distance. The room was ideal - spacious, comfortable and impeccably clean, with a lovely bathroom also. Clean towels were provided daily, and the wifi was perfect throughout. Anthoula and Niko have even kept in touch with us via Facebook. I can't recommend this place highly enough, and I fully intend to return.

Great stay. The guests were very sweet and easy to work with, and the apartments were in great condition. They were clean, spacious, had really well working AC, good showers, and a well equipped, fully functional kitchen. The guesthouse is just a few minutes walk from Himare center and its markets, restaurants, shops, and gorgeous beach. This is a perfect place to stay for a nice, relaxing beach vacation.

Niko and Anthoula are just the best hosts ever! They welcome you like you are family members with homemade raki ( I don't normally like raki but Niko's was so good and as he said not strong at all) and mountain tea. The house is super nice, very clean and has a beautiful patio with plants and birds and of course..the sunset! Ask Niko for his Instagram, he has beautiful pics of Himara and his sheeps ;) This was our first stop in Albania and it couldn't have been better. Thanks a lot Niko and Anthoula, you have made our stay special.

Every single thing about Sunset Guest House was perfect. We were enthusiastically greeted by Nikola and Anthoula. Weary after the long and winding road from Tirana (beware the Llogara Pass!), we were happy to relax on the terrace with tea and homemade raki. Nikola and Anthoula speak passable English but the miracle of cellphones and Google Translate enabled us to have a full on conversation about a wide range of topics from Communism to corrupt lawyers to sheep farming. We had a room in back that was spotlessly clean with new furniture and lily white towels. The bathroom was a shower/toilet combo in one room and was outside the room but since we were in back it was completely private. Pretty much every time we walked past Nikola at his post on the terrace, he offered us raki, tea, coffee, and conversation. He was full of tips on where to eat, the best beaches in the area, and local history. I would most definitely stay here again!

We are so happy we decided to go for a guest house without a beach view, because we would never have met Anthoula and Nikolla if we did. They were the perfect hosts, and made sure our stay went smoothly in every way. We even extended our stay because of their hospitality.

We got what seemed to be unlimited access to Nikolla's home made raki, as well as plenty of coffee and good conversations. Even though they don't speak much English, it was easy to communicate with body language, some Google Translate and a bit of patience. Thanks to this, we feel that we made new friends in our hosts in Himarë.

The room we had was spacious and clean, with new furniture, a refrigerator and a private bathroom. Both the room and the outside area has working wifi, and there is a kitchen for basic cooking. The apartment is located in close proximity to the city and the nearest beaches, which makes it perfect both for trips to villages nearby as well as the nice beaches that Himarë has to offer. There are many restaurants and shops around. Plus, the sunset from the terrace is really nice.

I would without a doubt chose this place again, and I encourage everyone that wants a genuine and comfortable stay to do the same!

The atmosphere and the warm people at Sunset Guest House made our stay perfect. It was good weather when we stayed there, and it was great with air condition in the room. Nice and clean, just a few minutes to the beach and stores. Next time we will stay longer!
