Kwantu Game Reserve was recommended by family members in Cape Town & its off the beaten track along a long dusty potted road - not suitable for a sporty car at all even our hired car was feeling the strain. A warm welcome from Yausha, welcome snacks & drinks and easy check in & nice Prayer facilities. I was put...

We cannot recommend this Hotel at all. First of all: the game drives and guide are good, very nice and competent. No complains about this. However, the hotel was not good at all. Upon arrival, first thing after being welcomed was the fact that not as many as booked game drives were planned for our stay. After discussing over ten...

Dear Mr Omarjee Thank you for sharing your experience with us. While I am glad that you enjoyed your stay overall, I was disappointed to see that you felt that some of our staff had taken your belongings. I had the pleasure to stay at Kwantu Safari Lodge (Lions Cub) for 2 nights at the beginning of October 2016 and was really impressed. Being in a private game reserve offers you the best way to get so close to animals without having more cars and people on your way. The lodge is very nice, my room was huge...

Having experienced Kwantu from both a guest (volunteer) in 2014 and guiding internship position in the summer of 2016, I can say that I have seen both the inner and outer workings of this establishment. The first thing that strikes you as you arrive is not only being in a beautiful country like South Africa and living in the town...

From the moment we arrived at Kwantu we were impressed by the friendliness of the staff. Big smiles all around. The breakfast that we had before our game drive was delicious. Our game ranger was very funny, friendly and knowledgable. We returned to the lodge for a 5 star buffet lunch. We also enjoyed a walk around the town and...
