We booked unpowered site(since we are self contained) but upon arrival we where placed into the overflow sites which was along the golf course. We didn't mind that but would of loved been told this when making the booking and maybe not be charged the same as the c/p. That is my only complaint. The ablution blocks are a little...

unfortunately we only had the opportunity to stay here the one night. we had booked about 2 months prior to our visit when the park was being managed by a different team, At the time the manager had accepted our dogs (Labrador and Pugalier) as per their conditions in that dogs are accepted by Manager approval which was given at...

This caravan park has so much potential, but is just not maintained or well loved! Lovely bush setting located right on the Kalgan river, only 20 mins from Albany city centre, but not caught up in the hype of the town which is a real bonus. Large sites. It is just not well kept, the sewage smell was terrible, with...

This is a small park with excellent access to the Kalgan River. The golf course is great fun too. It is populated by 40 or so relaxed and well fed kangaroos who need to be gently persuaded off the fairways before teeing off for some holes. This is not a "proper" golf course by any means, and all the more...

Kalgan river is wonderful. This park has huge potential with easy river access, perfect water for kayaking, golf, kangaroos, abundant birdlife. The natural environment does not disappoint but alas this park is desperate. Its old which is fine but it is very run down. It seems to have suffered from long term neglect. One to watch but for now sadly...

We chose this park as it boasted of activities to keep the kids occupied such as river swimming and was close to Albany. When we arrived we were informed our $60pn unpowered pitch was actually on the overflow on the golf course a ten minute walk to the amenities. That's fine. It's a busy time of year. The camp kitchen...

Mature aged couple with 20ft caravan seeking a week away between Xmas and NY. Booked months ahead and staff were very accomodating offering a site verging on the rivers edge. Great proximity to river with easy views from under awning. Ablutions very clean whilst very busy with holiday crowds in. Certainly a majority of family "camping" useage but no trouble....

Excellent management. Nothing is too much trouble. Helped me massively when I decided tenting was too much and moved into cabin. They dismantled my site for me and packed it all up. Came to check on me too see if all was ok. Amenties in Caravan park comfortable. Sites especially on the river great. Cabins very comfortable and well fitted...

Kalgan River Caravan Park might not be flash, but it's a lovely comfortable place to stay with plenty of room. We have stayed here a couple of times now and it has been in June which is a bit cold, but it's still nice to get out and about. This time the weather was a bit rough, but we still...
