The estate adjacent to the Chiecina valley extends over 45 hectares in a hilly area planted with olive trees, vineyards and surrounded by woods ideal for hunting out the precious white truffle. The two main 19th century buildings have recently been renovated and are surrounded by a large garden with canopies where guests can eat outside and enjoy the panoramic view over the valley. The two lofts, each measuring 160 m², Amedeo Modigliani and Giacomo Balla, stand out due to their open spaces, with finely-equipped kitchen, dining table and living room with fireplace, with fine furniture and works of contemporary art. Each apartment has a double bedroom, two bathrooms and a bedroom with two single beds where a third bed can be added. Guests can visit the organic vegetable garden and garden. There is a 20 m panoramic swimming pool with sun loungers and umbrellas and guests receive a welcome basket with farm produce.

We went as a group of 4 friends and it was wonderful. The owner is very helpful and friendly with great recommendations. It is about 1/2 an hour away from Piza airport. It feels remote but there are shops about 10 mins away and it is easy access to historical towns and vineyards. The setting is gorgeous with vineyards, olive groves and a small vegetable and fruit patch you are welcome to pick from. The apartments are large and have all the equipment you could need. The pool is a glorious salt water pool which is perfect to play in or to do lengths. All I would recommend it to take insect repellent if you are going in August.

The Tuscany Farm Experience was truly the highlight of my family’s 2 week European vacation. It was highly recommended by a friend, but it far exceeded our expectations. From touring and learning about their wine and olive oil production to picking fresh fruits and vegetables on their farm to preparing and incredibly delicious meal together to relaxing in the stunning infinity pool, it was a magical day. It was a very easy trip from Florence via train and then a brief car ride to take us to the gorgeous property. The family is the nicest group of people you will meet, it felt as if we were with friends. Everyone helped participate in the meal production, even my teenage boys, which was so much fun! Then we all enjoyed the beautiful meal together on their beautiful patio, overlooking a view of our dreams! We’ve even stayed in touch since, and have had delivered their incredible wine and olive oil. We cannot wait to go back, and next time we will stay for more than a day. I promise you will absolutely love your time there!

This is the most amazing property with incredible views and fantastic food. But what makes this place so special is the hosts. They were so welcoming and immediately treated us like lifelong friends. Don't pass the opportunity up if you're near by.

Wow, please visit this beautiful Tuscan countryside dream. You will not regret such a once in a lifetime experience, worth every penny. Francesco and Isabella are such wonderful people who will fill your heart with warmth and love. Their farm is the most beautiful place I have seen in my life, you feel like you are on a film set living your dreams. The food made with the help of the hosts is beyond anything you will taste in Italy, especially Isabella's chocolate salami, belissimo! Now onto the wine they produce from their farm. You can sense the excitement of Francesco when he talks about his wines produced on the farm. Such careful delicacy to the production and such passion. My favourite was the 2012, I have never tasted wine like the wine here at Tenuta Chiudendone. It is so delicate yet so full of rich flavour that takes you back to being right back in the heart of Tuscany. You can order both the farms olive oil and wine direct to your home to! :) This place is just full of love and you will feel like you are at home, you can relax in the infinity pool, take a stroll to the nearby church, watch the sunset and relax breathing in the beautiful countryside views. Thank you so much Francesco and Isabella, you and your family are wonderful. Please visit at least once in your lifetime, I promise you will not regret making once in a lifetime memories in such a magical place.

When we travel our family likes to take book last minute and take chances on where we stay. Our family of five was enjoying Tuscany so much that we decided that we needed to spend a few more days. By chance we booked Tenuta Chiudendone. We were blown away! The property was amazing. Accommodations were perfect; a comfortable place to relax after a day out exploring. Small hikes nearby took us back in time (the church at the top of the hill is a must). Isabella and Francesco made us feel at home and were fast friends. To top it off, the wine and olive oil are so good that we order a case every year! Cannot wait to go back.
