We were charmed by this spacious b&b located in a very old and quite grand building. The furniture and rooms are beautiful. They give you the choice of many lovely rooms to, eg, sit and read with a cup of tea. We put our bottles and prosciutto in their fridge and made ourselves at home. The bed is very comfortable...

Greeted by the very friendly Violetta on arrival who showed us to our room upstairs. 3 storeys up, but lift available which we used to take our bags up. Very pleased with our room which was roomy also another little room adjacent for our use, with a single bed. All furnishings are antiques and wall decor. in the rooms we...

what a lovely treat to stay here. Every room was unique and the place was a maze. Got lost constantly in the building but was so fun. The hot tub was out of order which was a shame. The breakfast was amazzzzzzzing. The town takes about 5 minutes to walk through. And the clock tower bells ring all night. So...

We stayed at Leones for a second year in a row. We can't say enough about the accommodations, and especially the very friendly and excellent service from Violeta and her two daughters. Manuela and Violeta were very accommodating with our schedule during the three weeks that we stayed there. The town folk in Palaia remembered us and were very friendly...

An absolutely stunning house in a lovely village in the Tuscan hills. The rooms were beautiful and host very warm and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious and decadent and would definitely stay here again.

We spent five nights at the Antica Dimora Leones in early August. We can't say enough about the hospitality from the staff - many thanks to Violet and her two daughters. Antica also accommodated us due to a change in our travel plans. Great value with spacious rooms and great breakfast every day. House keeping service every day. Convenient location...

We stayed here for 4 nights with friends. A quirky rambling B&B with lots of character. Violetta who manages the B&B is very helpful and friendly but has limited English which made us practice our very poor Italian! We had a downstairs (there are 3 floors) very large bedroom, ensuite and sitting room which were delightful and allowed us to...

We found this enchanting little place by chance as our apartments were not available. The little bed and breakfast is in a quiet little corner of the town that itself is off the beaten track. An old family home available to use as a base in this area.Full of lovely quirky rooms ,all lovely and traditional in their decoration and...

Feels very Italian. Faded grandeur and you need to be self sufficient food and refreshment wise as it's really just a room with breakfast rather than hotel.Comfy beds and good bathrooms and a friendly welcome. Not a place to stay if you hate the sound of church bells.

This is a beautiful place in old house right in the center of town. The house is delightful--full of antiques and interesting books and artifacts. The rooms were large and well equipped. We didn't expect it in this old house, but the rooms are air conditioned and the bathrooms are modern. The hostess is very friendly and helpful, but her...
