Very comfortable, clean and friendly b and b.Tea room served very good coffee and exceptional home made cakes/ scones.Prices are amazingly reasonable especially the 2 nights for 1 deal in winter.You feel very welcome here!

We called in about 4.00 on a Sunday afternoon for a snack as we had been driving around the Dales all day. What a pleasant surprise it was. The service we received was really good and the food was excellent and really good value for money, We had to try the Victoria sponge from the array of cakes and scones...

Talbot House is idealy placed for cyclists attempting the way of the roses ride. This BnB is situated in the heart of Pately Bridge and has secure storage for the bikes overnight. Me and 10 other guys were welcomed warmly by the 2 elderly women running the place and nothing was a bother to them.The bedrooms were clean and tidy...

We went to Talbot House whilst staying in the Dales after reading the rave reviews about the Victoria Sponge cake! Well we weren't disappointed! we were given a friendly welcome and my eyes lit up at the array of gorgeous cakes on the counter. We opted to sit outside as the weather was lovely and sat in their lovely courtyard...

Stayed here on 7th may with my two daughters. Had a large room for 3 very spacious and comfortable. Excellent breakfast and lunch. Staff very friendly . Will definitely be staying again. Food was excellent quality and plentiful.

So good for lunch that we went back later for tea and cakes! Such a friendly, helpful welcome. Great home made food ... we sampled soups and later cakes - try the cheese cake! We didn't test the accommodation, but if it's half as good as the tea rooms then you're in for a treat! PS Owners/managers ... you should...

Great B and B , the beds were comfy and the breakfasts were huge and very tasty. In addition the three owners were fab, really helpful and friendly. Room comfortable and ensuite big. Everything you could wish for and good value too.

You can't beat home made cake, We called in on are way back home for an afternoon treat, well worth the visit. The staff are so friendly and a warm welcoming atmosphere. There have a wide range of drinks, food and cakes on offer.

Talbots was very welcoming. Low doorways, lovely cosy rooms. An extensive menu offered all manner of goodies. A beef baguette was absolutely delicious, and the chunky chips were just that, lovely and chunky and served with brown sauce on the side, yum. The propietors were very friendly, helpful and made us feel as if we were their only customers. I...

Called in on Sunday afternoon for tea and cakes can,t beat home made. We had good sized portions of Coffee and Walnut and raspberry bakewell with a large pot of tea bill came to £8. For the quality it was good value. The tea room was warm and comfortable and was quite busy. certainly worth a visit.
