We only stayed one night here as part of a tour. The rooms are clean, if a little old fashioned but everything you need for a comfortable stay. The buffet was average, but this is Cuba so par for the course The show put on by the staff was very entertaining. We all had a great evening. This is not...

On our tour we were told this was a pretty basic 2 star hotel. It has been built on an old plantation and there are separate buildings of 4 or 6 rooms in blocks nothing more than 2 stories. Our room was very comfortable and very clean. We were warned that sometimes the local wild life might chose to share...

Not sure if we stayed in the same hotel as some of the earlier reviewers, we found it to be fine for an overnight stay. The welcome was a bit quirky,we were given o fresh brewed cup of tea and a jam roll, accompanyied by staff singing. Food was fine,we slept well, shower and aircon worked.Maybe a little dated, and one of...

There isn't much more to say that hasn't been said already .We stopped off just for a one night stay, pleased it was only one night, as the accommodation was below par .We were warned that this hotel was basic and may not be the standard experienced in other hotels. But oozes character and along with the friendliness of the staff...

The potential for it to be a first class hotel is there but it is so tired and unloved and a relic of days long gone. The rooms were grubby and badly maintained, the buffet limited and the staff past caring. On the positive side the entertainer put on a great show with magic ,singing and a somewhat bizarre drag...

The location is lovely, very open with woodland with small blocks of accommodation. We were only staying for one night so thought it looked ok. Shown to my room the door opened and the most disgusting smell of stale cigar smoke greeted me so I said I wasn't staying in that room. Given another I thought all would be fine....

Beautiful rural setting, accommodation in small blocks. Rooms are basic and far from pristine. However the food was passable and the staff made heroic efforts to please and entertain us. A reasonable overnight stop.

I was on a long, whirlwind tour of central Cuban cities that involved much bus time, traffic and long hours. We limped in later at night into this wonderful oasis and the day was saved and the tour group completely revived. This is a North American looking and quality hotel outside Sancti Spiritus. The grounds are huge, with a lovely...

We were led to believe that the accommodation was used for the Russian military for rest and recuperation many years ago. We stayed one night in rooms that were tired but everything was clean. the restaurant provided us with a small choice of buffet but it was well cooked and presented. The staff were very good and did all they...
