We booked for the night for Alton Towers, We thought is was excellent hotel, lovely room over looking the garden nice and quite in superb surroundings in the Derbyshire dales,most of all the staff were very friendly and helpful which is a credit to you all, we will be definitely be stop again.

Very friendly staff room was clean , wifi ok , location is great but car essential .Tissington trail can be found at bottom of large garden.Full English breakfast was great with choice of yoghurts fresh fruits and cereal. I will return

We received a very warm welcome from the young receptionist who even offered to help with luggage. We stayed in Twin Room no.7, overlooking the garden which was excellent as hotel on main road & although some very heavy lorries passing was not aware of too much noise at night. Room was clean & well presented. Firm beds. Bathroom ensuite...

We had a warm welcome from the staff on arrival. We found the rooms to be tidy and well equipped and very comfortable. The breakfast was great and kept us going for the whole day. The location of the hotel was fantastic, due it being 20 minutes from our chosen attraction, Alton Towers. We also had a lovely evening meal...

We stayed at Newton House for 2 nights. Rooms clean & tidy. Substantial full English breakfast. Staff very efficient & polite & helpful. We visited Chatsworth House, only a short drive away. Tissington village close by, lovely ancient village. Tissington trail goes by bottom of the hotel's garden.

Enjoyed a 1 night stay, remote location, definitely need a car. Very good breakfast. This hotel comes under the budget category and represents value for money. Ideal for using as a hub to explore the beautiful Peak District .

We were due to attend a wedding reception at a hotel in Dove Dale and needed somewhere to stay overnight. Newton House Hotel fitted the bill. Spent a well earned rest at this hotel right on the Tissington trail. rooms were very cozy and equiped with tea, coffee, etc staff very helpful, breakfast was lovely Was allowed our small dogs to stay in our room .there are seperate cottages for pet owners.Which we thought were fab.well equiped bar .all in all could not fault this hotel.thanks...

If you are looking for a simple get away to the peak district then Newton House Hotel is the place to go.
