Nice stopoff being so close to the Edale station, but the drinks are £1.80+ and specials £12+ so pricey but enough for a stop enroute. Ensuite accommodation on-site but book in advance especially on weekends.
We were staying in Edale so wandered into the village where there is two pubs, we were advised this was the best of the two to eat at...
If you want cheapish pub grub then this will suit, it was fine and nice beer garden...More
After stunning views from Mam Tor it was great to be welcomed at the Rambler. Friendly attentive staff dealt efficiently with our thirst and hunger. Good choice of treats. My dog and I want to return again today.
I came to edale with a few friends and ended up in the Rambler. The pub was delightful but the staff was horrendous and even accused me of lying about what I had ordered. I don't know where your from but where I come from...More
