Visited after a very lengthy walk through the peaks for a well deserved pint. Very large beer garden which is great on a nice day. Decent selection of beers available too. Not sure of prices as the round was bout by another member of the group

I visited here, like most people here, after a long day walking & looking for some tasty food! While the food definitely didn't disappoint, the service absolutely did. When I tried to order, I had my head bitten off by the man serving me, after trying to order my drink first. Then I tried to order food; I had looked...

Really disappointing visit on bank holiday Monday. I had rang earlier in the week to confirm they were open and that they were serving food at the usual times as I was aware it was a bank holiday (hence the phone call ) I then rang again to see if we could book a table as we would be a...

Lovely village, lovely pub with nice ales. Meals are excellent, with lots of choice. A very popular place especially weekends, lots of walkers fuelling up. Bar staff very friendly, nothing was too much trouble.

We stayed here for an overnight stop whilst out walking from Edale. This Inn is a meeting point for ramblers and had a great atmosphere. The rooms are quaint but cosy and the bed is super soft and warm! Food was great too! Everyone was very welcoming and we will definitely return.

Ideally situated for 1st leg of Pennine Way, Edale to Crowden. Good beers on tap. Room not big but did the job. Great views from window of room. Very comfortable bed with massive mattress. Good grub in evening. The Ham Tor burger is actually on a scale of 1:1, didn't get anywhere near finishing it! Got Sky TV so managed...

A great break with a nice room and fabulous service. Breakfast was freshly cooked both mornings and the evening meals we had were lovely. Would highly recommend this pub and the customer service was great too.

We stayed one night in a small twin room (no.3). It was neatly furnished, with good bedding, new carpet, neat decor, properly cleaned, ample tea/coffee/toiletries, but very small bathroom. The best part of the room was the absolutely spectacular view, directly on Kinder Scout. You could sit on either of the twin beds and simply stare through the windows at...

A comfortable, friendly and easy going atmosphere. Had the Sunday roast which was very impressive, generous and delicious. Service was great. Lovely open fires and plenty of different eating areas with great views, in our case, of the snow falling on the hills. Certainly good value for money and highly recommended.
