Just had one night here with the seven course tasting menu and breakfast. Room was very nice, the staff all helpful and a beautifully cooked breakfast. The tasting menu was fine but let down a little by fairly long waits between courses and the " main" course duck) was very tough. Enjoyed our stay overall and will probably go again.

After a warm welcome we were soon led to our table. The dining room has panoramic views of the stunning Edale Valley. A very good selection of sandwiches and cakes and a panacotta was more than enough for two. Coffee was served in a silver coffee pot and the tea service was good quality. Just be aware if visiting that...

Room was adequate.....bit on the small side but comfortable. Pool was clean and well heated. Seating in the bar and restaurant needs replacing, they have definitely seen better days. Some of the tables in the dining room are rickety and not suitable for purpose. The above let the excellent food down........pity.

Booked a 3-course lunch for our wedding anniversary. The young lady on reception was welcoming and we were shown to the lounge. A lovely waitress brought us the menu - 4 choices for each course - and we sat in comfortable surroundings until our meal was ready. The food was first class and as with fine dining the portions weren't...

I don't usually write reviews but feel I must. This hotel was incredibly overpriced for what it was. The spa was terrible, it is so small (steam room seats 2, outdoor hot tub 4 to be comfortable) my gym has better spa facilities. The water in the hot tub was tepid to say the least, it was not enjoyable /...

Arrived Friday afternoon with family to celebrate two birthdays. We all went straight into spa and had an enjoyable time although was rather busy being a Friday. Rooms were great as they all looked out onto Win Hill and the fields with sheep roaming. This is our second/third visit for some of the party so we knew what to expect...

This place is not very easy to find and the road to it is narrow and potholed. I would not want to go along it at night. I went for afternoon tea with some friends and we had a wonderful time, one of the best I have ever had. The dining room is lovely and has beautiful views. There were...
