We stayed here for two nights in July, couldn't fault the place. Great room, the whole place is very clean. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Fantastic breakfast at a reasonable price. Good selection of real ales.

It's a good spot to travel from (bus links to Hope/Castleton/Hathersage where many walks start) for walking, in a calm, but well-facilitated village.
