So this was one of our options for a huge conference that we were attending. Given the cost of everything else, this fit our budget. However, it did not fit our needs. The lobby is fine, the staff polite, the location good for getting anywhere. The breakfast is good enough and plentiful, with gluten-free options, which I hugely appreciated. The...

I decided to take a weekend trip with two friends. We randomly picked Copenhagen. After having secured great flight deals, we were shocked to find out how costly lodging was in the city. Even hostels were very expensive in some cases more than some hotels. After extensive research, I eventually came upon the Cabinn hotel. It was considerably less than...

Previously I've stayed at another Cabinn Hotel and this time; it didn't disappoint. Fast and efficient check in whilst the wifi (free and truly high speed; much better than at more upscale hotels). The rooms are similar to a cabin in a boat (hinting to the hotels name..) but the beds... The beds, pillows and duvet are amazing... Truly amazing!...

A good place if you want a place to sleep. Close to everything but without the noise of the inner city. The area around the hotel has cosy cafés, bakery, small shops. All you need. Friendly reception.

At the first look this place look like a tipical hotel for bussiness people at one big city, and in fact it is, but with the charming feeling to be inside a boat. I think the name completely fits to architecture of the building because when you get in into the bed rooms everything looks like a boat cabin. The...

The staff are supportive, they are happy to give advice on the local area and different means of travel. A good budget hotel, clean and tidy, breakfast is continental and staff try to meet dietry needs, definitely stay here again.

Copenhagen is an expensive city, never truer than when it comes to accommodation. Stayed at this 'hotel' last week with two friends, all in our 30s. Unwilling to pay top money for a hotel but certainly too old to youth hostel. It was a fine compromise. The room is a cabin. It is small but functional, always found it clean....

Staying in Frederiksberg

Neighbourhood Profile
Frederiksberg
Located between Noerrebro and Vesterbro you’ll find Frederiksberg, which is actually a municipality in itself but completely surrounded by Copenhagen. Here there are several fine theaters, from the experimental to the great Det Ny Teater (The New Theater) which specializes in transcribing the great London and New York musicals into Danish, and has done so for several years with huge success. In Frederiksberg you’ll find Denmark’s most beautiful (and expensive) city villas. These 4-5 square miles form the Beverly Hills of Copenhagen. Here you’ll also find Frederiksberg Have (Garden) which sports huge outdoor concerts, from classical to electronic dance music. To top it off, dining options range from cozy family restaurants to some of the area’s most trendy cafés.
