From the moment we arrived, to the moment we left, we were treated like royalty on a private vacation. Attention to detail was excellent, but so was the the amount of space we were given to do our own thing. Quiet and serene. We had a choice of indoor or outdoor shower! We showered outdoors everyday! A simple but high...

Firstly we must apologise for our tardiness in writing this review, but we have been so busy since we got back! My husband and I honeymooned for 10 days in January at Tavanipupu and it was just absolutely amazing. I had been searching and searching for the most perfect place for us to honeymoon when I came across Tavanipupu. We...

Tavanipupu is special. Fantastic location. Fabulous room. Magnificent scenery. Exceptional staff - both expat and national. And the food was astounding! Our 3 day stay was more expensive than anticipated (the web site room prices might need updating a little. Also, although it is in AUD, when you get the bill, this is converted to Solomon Dollars at a somewhat...

Simply extraordinary. A stay on Tavanipupu is a rare privilege and we mean that with all sincerity. It is somehow humbling to share this very private paradise with at most, 5 other couples plus a handful of local and expat staff. This takes to a whole new level, the saying '"untouched by tourists" because it truly is. Want to buy...

This is THE place to getaway from it all. From the minute we stepped onto the jetty on our arrival we were welcomed by manager Paul and some of his wonderfully gentle local staff, the scene was set for a wonderful holiday. The food, service, location and the people are just fabulous - tight service but in a relaxed island...

After working for 9 Months in the Solomons this was the perfect way to relax after a hectic year. Our room was so comfortable with a view straight onto the calm waters edge,so we could watch the locals arriving for work in their dugout canoes. We're now back in the UK after an extraordinary 4 days at Tavanipupu. It was enforced relaxation and just what we needed. It's a very small idyllic island resort, picture book stuff. It took us 20 mins to walk round. Our room was a leaf-roofed house but with western amenities. We spent all the time in and out of the...

Left this one up to Hubby and boy he excelled in his choice. The occasion was our 25th Wedding Anniversary and my 49th birthday all rolled into one. We decided on a 2nd honeymoon as we had our first one on Uepi Island we wanted something comparable. This place ticks all the boxes and more. Upon arrival it was evident...

“All rooms were good. The room where the royals stayed was clearly the best on the point with its own private pier.”

“We would have happily taken any room in the property! We did get the chance to stay 4/5 nights in the royal bunglalow which gives you access to a private jetty so this is the main benefit here. The other bungalows were just as nice inside and we wouldn't hesitate to book one of those again. We understand they are currently adding a few more bungalows so I can't comment on these.”
