Considering Savannakhet is a small town (at least not big as Vientiane), I found this property to be totally appropriate for stays. The hotel is right next to the river and the property is not only huge but clean also. Check in was quick, the room was quite good too. Everything in the hotel is what you would expect to...

We were "airlifted" into Savanakhet with no idea what to expect. Daosavanh was lovely - huge rooms with acres of closet space, good bathrooms, friendly staff, friendly babysitters, nice food, nice pool with baby section, swings and slides in the garden - and a great view of the Mekong River. Fast wifi throughout the property. We had a thoroughly enjoyable...

Had zero expectations as was here for a philanthropy related trip and was pleasantly surprised. Food in the restaurant was good (ordered the local food which was tasty, spicy, but without being oily), my room was spacious and even had wifi. Shower rod fell down after I hung a towel over it but I was happy there was hot water,...

Having read the reviews we arrived with a certain amount of apprehension. With had travelled over 250 miles on motorbikes and we're looking forward to a good rest. On arrival we were greeted with a glass of fruit cordial. Checkin was efficient. Rooms are clean, air con fine. I organised myself a massage 1 hour for $11 which was excellent....

Nice architecture. Big place. Nice view on the Mekong. We enjoyed the pool in the early morning. It was a nice way of beginning the day. The breakfast buffet was OK, but no more. They had a wonderful coffee machine but as it didn't work, we got only poor filter coffee.

The property looked great in the photos. The property IS fabulous! Unfortunately the property is run horribly. There is a conflict among the employees; one does not know who to listen to. Three people; receptionist, and English speaking woman, don't know her title and a Chinese angry man tell you different things when you ask a question. The restaurant is...

I enjoyed this hotel. It seemed like the best option in town. It was clean, relatively quiet and the staff were friendly and helpful. Their English isn't fantastic but you can get by. It has a pretty view. I didn't get the chance to use the facilities so I can't comment on them. I had dinner there both nights and...

If you are looking for a quiet place with comfort and splendid view of the Mekong this is it. The gym is ok, the pool area is nice, we had massage at the spa by very professional and competent staff. There is a lot of room for improvement at the Buffet breakfast though.

Well, where to start. Probably with a big sigh. Here it is: siiiiiiigggggghhhhhh. Now that's over with, I can breathe again and tell you ALL about it. We chose here because we wanted a pool and, basically, it's the only show in town. We arrived after an eight hour bus journey from Champasak. All we really wanted was a nice...

Beautiful hotel with spacious rooms, nice bathroom with rainshower. Our sink was leaking so we had to put the rubbishbin underneath it. The staff is not helpfull at all and it took them half a hour when we wanted to pay our bill. It looks like they don't care about the hotel and guests. They also speak very little English....
