If you are tuned into cosiness, warmth, relaxation, and no-fuss, - then you find no better place than with Cecilia. This is not a hotel, it is a home, where you are greeted with true kindness, and helped in every way. Cecilia has a vast knowledge of the area, and the people around, - all to the benefit of the way YOU want to spend your time here. Reading a book in the garden, exploring the village, or living out your Wanderlust. - And if you have time left over on your vacation, then use it here!

You can trust these reviews! This is a grand place to stay in Valizas! Cecilia is a marvelous hostess and she will help you arrange a horseback ride to Cabo (it was incredible!) and a fun dinner at Robert and Javier's house, etc. And time just enjoying the garden, the pousada, Valizas and the people we met, etc. Pedro and I want to come back as soon as we can. Would be lovely to have breakfast again with Cecilia and give her a big hug! And take a pic with her infamous international pic word... Thanks Cecilia! See you soon!

We had a great stay at posada valizas with a cosy room, nice garden and excellent breakfast prepared by the very welcoming owner Cecilia. Would definitely stay again and recommend anyone looking for a relaxed and cosy B&B instead of the many hostels in the area. /Frida and Jonas from Sweden

We stayed at the possada with our host Cecilia for two nights end of November. The rooms are small but very cosy and clean and we slept very good also due the great silence at night. Already the welcome was very warm and uncomplicated. Cecialia offered a tea and explained many things about the possibilities in Valizas and Cabo Polonio. Our stay was still pre season and we arrived a Monday, so most restaurants were closed, but Cecilia called a friend who opened especially for us. After dinner we returned to the possada where we could even watch a German DVD and we were offered a drink. The second day we hiked to Cabo Polonio - just following our hosts description also for food there. Actually this hike is a must if you are in this region. And Cecilia even made the personal driver to return us from the nature park centre to the possada. The evening we spent like old friends talking with her, while having a bottle of wine from her home region. Wonderful was breakfast both mornings, when we sat in the charming kitchen for hours being pampered with everything we asked for. Sure it is a simple place but on our Uruguay trip it is one of our favorites! Thank you Cecilia - we look forward to see you again. R+S

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a weekend in January and we still think about how lovely it was. Cecelia is an amazing hostess (ask her about the international word) and her place is beautifully decorated and very whimsical. If we come back to Uruguay this is where we will stay. Thank you Cecilia for such a wonderful weekend!!
