4-star relaxing hotel located in the pilgrimage village Mariastein. Zero noise, enchanting room view, very kind and friendly staff, breakfast on the terrace available in the summer, a family atmosphere. If you like being taken care of, this is your hotel! And, in winter time, you can take advantage of the stunning ski area of Wilder Kaiser-Brixental given its proximity...

Hotel Mariasteiner Hof was a great place to stay. The personnel was very friendly and helpful. The room had everything we needed with comfortable bed, balcony, clean and fresh bathroom. Breakfast was included in the price, and was really good. You could find a big assortment of bread, order your omelette, boil your egg exactly the way you want it,...

This is an amazing family oriented hotel, great service especially from Peter in the restaurant. A good base to ski Hopfgarten and the surrounding resorts. Have stayed here 4 X now over new year with a group of friends , can't recommend this hotel enough!!

A tiny alpine village with enchanting chapel. There is a farm with horses and most beautiful Austrian landscape. The chapel is a built on a rock which rises quite high above the ground. Visit the lonely monk who resides there. Don't be alarmed by his unwillingness to talk or unfriendliness at the first sight, as he has a dark secret...

On our way back North from Italy in the summer of 2015 we spent one night at this family run, beautifully positioned and most welcoming hotel. Easily reachable from the motorway you find yourself bathed in tranquility and wonderful views. Dinner was ok (fine salad) whereas breakfast was absolutely marvellous. Prices (be it eating/drinking/sleeping) are more than fair. Ample parking...

Again my stay in this wonderfully aged hotel, perched high on a hill between mountain a the darkest emerald green lake below proved to be a welcomed tonic. Family run you are treated like a family member returned from a long journey, the welcome couldn't be any better; it's as though you have actually come home. The village of Mariastein...

We stayed one night at the Mariasteinhof during a business trip to Austria. From check in to check out the experience was first class. Upon check in the front desk person took time to answer all our questions on the area, our room had a large balcony overlooking the mountains, was exceptionally clean with a nice blend of traditional furniture...

This is a superior family owned and operated hotel. It is exceptionally well designed and you can feel the attention of the owner family to all details. The cuisine is extraordinary sophisticated for a hotel of this class and well priced, so there is no reason at all to eat anywhere else. Pay special attention to the very well equipped...

I stay at this hotel every February since 2009 with a private group and love every moment I stay here. The hotel owners, Thomas & Maria are excellent hosts and I hold them in utmost esteem. I've celebrated 14 birthdays here and without fail they've made my stay outstanding. I've yet to find a hotel anywhere in the world where...
