We have vacationed at Kanai A Nalu for the last 20 years. . Once we stumbled on to this unit we stopped looking. Construction of the building is Concrete and Block making it exceptionally quiet . Elevators and good parking included. Approximately 15 steps to the water with Arguably the best walking beach in Maui from the Condo to Sugar...

This condo is fantastic and very family friendly. Pool is lovely and surrounded by the beach! There is easy access to the beach. From the lanai we have seen humpback whales. Sea turtles play in the surf and are visible from the beach. Wonderful location we will return!

The Kanai A Nalu complex is very well maintained and centrally located in Maui. Being it is located between Kihei and Lahaina, you have plenty of options for snorkeling, beach going, and eating out. Unit #119 is on the ground floor and ocean front....literally 10 steps away from the ocean. This complex has its own beach which nice for snorkleing...

For all of my career, I have worked for properties that have been rated on Trip Advisor and Forbes, and I understand the value a consumer holds in its reviews in deciding on a vacation destination... In saying that, it is with great pleasure to leave an excellent overall rating for our Honeymoon stay at this property. Without a doubt,...

This was our first trip to Maui and we were extremely fortunate to find this hidden treasure in Maalaea. Maalaea Bay is a quiet retreat in comparison to the overflowing tourist areas of Lahaina and Kihei, but Kanai A Nalu is centrally located and a quick drive to both places. Unit 420 was very clean and comfortable and the view...

This is the best memory of travel of my life. I would live here if I could. I can still smell the air and I LOVED the early morning swims. The people I met will be lifelong friends. This place is to die for!

We came from Germany to spend the holidays with family, 44 days. Paid in advance high season rates (Christmas and New Year) for the whole time. We got close to 20 centipedes, in our unit with our doors closed. I had to kill, or exterminate them myself with a can of RAID Ant and Roach Spray always next to my...

We have stayed in unit 320 at Kanai a Nalu 4 times now. The view is breath-taking and the condo is so comfortable with many new upgrades. Kitchen and bathrooms are lovely. Most comfortable king bed! Well equipped with everything we needed including beach chairs and boogie board. Only downside is that owner is next to impossible to contact and...

Great location. Room 311 was nicely renovated..Could use a larger A.C. unit, there was no trade winds for several days making it too hot. Calm beach in front for relaxing. Clean pool and bbq to use. Would recommend to friends.

I am the owner of Kana'i A Nalu #101 and am devastated by this review. I am so sorry he saw 20 centipedes. No other guest before or after has seen 20 centipedes. I am also very sorry the bathtub in the unit above overflowed. Luckily my manager was able to come over immediately and clean it up. Luckily there are two bathrooms and fortunately for me it was so minor there was no damage to my condo :-). As you can imagine a home right on the water has constant upgrades done. In the past couple of years we have installed a brand new air conditioner, installed updated light fixtures and fans, new electrical outlets including USB ports, the ceilings were scraped, refinished and painted, the whole condo including all closets painted, a brand new dishwasher, brand new washer and dryer, a new $3000 sleeper sofa, all linens are replaced very frequently. As far as items in the closets, the master bedroom closet is empty for our guests, and the second bedroom closets has wonderful things our guests have left for all of our guests to use. I receive thanks for the sand toys, fishing gear, beach chairs and umbrellas so often. I have actually not purchased any of these items myself.

As far as wonderful guests who repeatedly book my condo - I will give you just some examples. The guests who stayed January 2015 have booked for December 2016; the guests who stayed Oct/Nov 2015 have booked for October 2016; another guest who stayed early October 2015 has booked for Sept 2016; guests who stayed after you for a month February 2016 have booked for Feb/Mar 2017 and another guest who stayed in March 2016 has booked for early Feb 2017.

Once again, I am so sorry for your experience. I wish you had taken my agent up on her numerous offers to move you. I am so sorry again.
