Due to the size of our party and local availability it was with some trepidation I made this booking (see my previous review). It was a much better experience this time. We had a bit of a fiasco getting room key to work and breakfast was still a bit iffy, but a better visit by far. The staff were friendly... More

This is a clean and comfy hotel, with very polite and helpful staff when checking in. Had a few issues with card access for the room, but these were resolved quickly. Room was a bit dated, with wallpaper peeling below the radiator, but it was clean apart from this. Beds are very comfy, and hot water is plentiful, and very... More

My partner and I stayed at the Hermitage Park hotel Coalville on Saturday night last week. It was a very cold day and as we entered the impressive entrance hall it was so warm and inviting. The receptionist was very courteous and immediately directed us to our room which was on the ground floor. A lovely spacious double room with... More

Stayed here for a night, nice little hotel. Drinks were good. We were first up for breakfast the following morning and although it was nice it wasn't the warmest. We ate it all the same. The only problem was the heat in the bedroom. It was cruel!!! And the radiator could not be turned down anymore as it was stuck... More

Only stayed there one night but absolutely excellent. Great staff, great rooms, perfect atmosphere in the all night bar, excellent breakfast, clean and tidy rooms, basically an excellent place to stay

Reviewing on behalf of parents. This hotel had a room available last minute @ a good price. The stay was very comfy, rooms were clean bit dated but this can be done with a lick of paint. Comfy beds and was short taxi ride from party.

Stayed here for one night en route to Champneys Springs. The hotel is a bit tired and dated but clean, good sized rooms and comfy beds. Decent breakfast. 5 minute walk into Coalville where we had something to eat

To be fair, for the price, you might not expect this to be the top of the list for that special night away. As a business traveller it was more than adequate on the room front but the bar and restaurant area have about as much class and chic as the bar down the local leisure centre - and that's... More

Nice independent hotel close to the town centre. Rooms were a little tired but reasonably priced and functional with the added extras of a fan, toiletries, complimentary biscuits and bottled water. Staff were also friendly and accommodating to our request for late check out.

This is a typical budget hotel, but with friendly service and a great breakfast. The beds are particularly comfortable. The only drawback is at there is no lift. The rooms are slightly dated but very clean and spacious.
