Excellent Hotel with a wonderfully attentive staff. Truly glad I chose to stay here over an Airbnb. Quiet space, always clean and a spectacular view from each room. I ate at the Hotel restaurant on the beach a couple of times and it was not bad. Exceptionally helpful staff. Will return again.

This hotel is immaculately presented. It is in a quiet peaceful rural village setting but only 5 minutes from shops and bars and restaurants. The view over the village and sea beyond is beautiful. The room was spacious and modern and with a lovely balcony. The bed was very comfortable and the bed linen was of beautiful quality. There was parking, beautifully manicured gardens and a swimming pool. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was generous.

I stayed here this september on a business trip. While I did not book the hotel, I was very happy that it was chosen for me. The staff makes this hotel a special place. Very professional, friendly, and helpful. My work had me leaving in the mornings prior to the posted 7AM breakfast opening. The staff encouraged me to come early and I was able to enjoy a nice buffet prior to leaving for the day. The room was nice, very clean and comfortable. I planned to vacation after my job finished so my sister joined me from London for a few days. The staff recommended several local sights for us to see. One that stands out was a celtic ruin or "castro" close enough to visit after work. This level of attention combined with quality accomodations made the stay very comfortable. The only issue may be that it is a little bit outside of Pobra's center, however, it is a short walk to the beaches.

Stayed here for a week in August. We had a large room with a balcony and sea views. Hotel is 5 minutes walk from the beach. Previously reviews had mentionned problems with mosquitos in the rooms but we had not such problem (and I'm usually a mosquito magnet). The room had a modern air-conditioning unit which mean we were comfortable at all times. The double bed was large and comfortable. Breakfasts were of a good quality with plenty of choice. The staff were faultless, friendly and helpful at all times. They were happy to heat up food for our baby and went out of their way to make a fuss of him. The hotel pool was small but well maintained and the surrounding garden was perfectly manicured. It was never busy when we were there and we often had it to ourselves. The only slight gripe which we had was the lack of a proper restaurant (although we knew this before staying there). They serve snacks but don't have a proper menu available. This forced us to go out most nights (with a small baby this wasn't ideal). All in all excellent place to stay with a lovely beach only 5 minutes walk away.
