Casa Lema was completely charming. The room was spotless and cozy, the food was fabulous and the host and hostess were incredibly kind and made us feel right at home. Although it was off the beaten path, it was easy to get there from Muxia. We look forward to returning.

We spent one night in the amazing Casa De Lema. Everything was top notch- the couple that owns the property are amazing people, so nice and kind really eager to help, the food- breakfast and dinner- don't miss out on the dinner, the owner is a marvelous cook. And the room- Oh wow! words can't describe, like a fairy tale.... More

The Casa de Lema is a delight! We arrived very late (we got lost so do check the way before you go especially if you are arriving in the dark!) and were still greeted very warmly and invited to eat dinner despite the late hour. When we arrived the house was warm, sparkling clean everywhere and candlelit and we were shown... More

It may be way out in the country but you could not ask for a better location to explore the north west corner of Galica. The welcome was warm, the room ideal and the food both at dinner and especially at breakfast was tremendous in quality and quantity. From the orange juice squeezed by hand to the fabulous seafood, you... More

Don't be put off by the donkey & cart sculpture in the garden, this is a nicely-restored farmhouse with an obvious attention to detail. The dining area overlooking the garden and the seating area in the garden near the horreo (grain store) are particularly well-designed & attractive. We were given two rooms with the kids on the first floor &... More

We spent three nights recently with another couple from Madrid at this lovely rural lodging. The experience was wonderful from the moment we arrived at Casa de Lema until the last morning of our stay. The home is a beautiful example of a restored Galician house on a very well-kept property, in a great spot to travel in all directions... More

This hotel is a charming rural hotel 10 mins drive from Muxia and a great base to explore the Costa Del Muerte. Nice old fashioned room but well equipped. Nice lounge inside and area in garden to relax. Helpful owners. Decent food in a glass extension, very traditional rustic Galician. Our only issue is we got loads of insect bites... More

I love it when I use Trip Advisor to find a gem that I would have never found otherwise. That was the case with Casa de Lema- a gem! Our GPS took us everywhere but there, so we ended up just following the little signs- fyi. The exterior and interior both were charming, well done, updated & clean. The service... More
