From the moment we arrived at Mount Cinnamon resort, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality. Our stay at the resort was wonderful - our suite had amazing views of the Grand Anse beach and St. George was a picturesque backdrop from our balcony. The facilities were faultless - clean, tidy and all you could ask for. The food at the resort was delicious. During our stay we dined at both the hotel restaurant (Savvy's) and also at the Beach Cabanna where we got to enjoy two BBQ nights. All the staff - housekeeping, security and waiting - were so welcoming and friendly. Special thanks to Garrett and Tony for their consummate professionalism in ensuring that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. We would definitely recommend Mount Cinnamon as a place to relax and unwind when in Grenada. Our only regret was that we didn't have longer there. But we will definitely return. …
We felt very special from the moment we arrived at Mt Cinnamon. The accomodation was wonderful with views to die for. We can only say the staff couldn’t do enough for us and we will definitely return in the near future to Grenada and Hopefully to climb Mt Cinnamon. There were so many outstanding staff members, too numerous the mention. Don’t miss the Managers party it was a wonderful evening and an opportunity to meet other guests who were clearly return visitors also don’t miss the Friday night BBQ on the beach. Wonderful week many thanks to Nicky, Garret & Sharna for your outstanding service
From the minute we arrived & were greeted by Garrett we felt at home. Nothing was too much trouble. We even managed to stay an extra couple of days with the help of Sharna. We had a wonderful cocktail party & were introduced to the general manager Nicki & owner Barry who were extremely friendly & welcoming. Would highly recommend the bbq beach bonfire on a Friday night. Wonderful lobster. Would definitely return & highly recommend Mount Cinamon. Climb Mount Cinamon it’s definitely worth it.
We returned yesterday from a trip to Grenada where we stayed for five days at the Mount Cinnamon resort. Everything about it was lovely, from the cozy bed to the gorgeous view from our room to the delicious food in the dining room and at the beautiful private beach. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. Grenada is a volcanic island and much of it is on a slant, including Mt Cinnamon, but the staff was always there to drive us up to our room when needed, and always with a smile. My husband and I would highly recommend it.
Mount Cinnamon is pretty impressive but I guess it should be for circa £500 a night (Cinnamon Suite) Thought the food in the Beach Cabana and the Restaurant was good...as were the rum punches! The hotel team were on the whole pretty friendly The hotel is the last at the quiet end of Grand Asne...the other end is now again regularly swamped by cruise ship passengers! Its also an easy walk over the hill to Morne Rouge Beach which has a couple of standard beach bars Biggest negative is the pool which is small and located right next to Reception and well away from the beach...it was rarely used during my stay. There is plenty of space to build a proper pool next to the Cabana...especially good for families as the waves are too big for young children
This small, beautifully kept hotel was just perfect for the start of our Caribbean visit. The charming staff, for whom nothing was too much trouble, the wonderful villa which was equipped with everything we could possibly need and the beautiful gardens and, of course, beach really made us feel at home.
From the time we arrived, we were greeted with smiles and hospitality. Everyone there is friendly and very attentive. It would be very hard to single out just one person because everyone was exceptional. The young man at the desk showed us to our room, gave us directions for everything and left us with a cell phone and said if we had any requests to let him know. He was on top of everything. The young lady at the front desk arranged an all day tour with a taxi and great driver who showed around the island. The food was superb at both the upper restaurant and Savvy on the Beach. Be sure to stay on the weekend for the bon fire on the beach Friday nights, and the live entertainment. Live entertainment was offered on both weekend nights. The gentleman that ran the water sports station went out of his way Saturday afternoon, after letting 2 young ladies have 2 paddle boards they were swept away by the wind in an area they should not have been. He sprung into action into a canoe, tied both paddle boards off and paddle both of them back. Great Job! We lived our room even though it wasn’t the Villa we had originally book the Cinnamon Suite was perfect for the 2 of us. Spectacular views of the bay and mountains. We will diffidently be coming back to this Gem.…
This is a very well-run, meticulously maintained and esthetically pleasing hotel. If like us you are allergic to large all-inclusive corporate resorts, this is the friendly but highly professional beach getaway for you. The hillside suites are attractive and spacious, with comfortable beds, modern bathrooms and (most importantly) balconies. Ours (CS-13) offered a breathtaking panoramic view of the beach, harbor, capital and mountains. We had to pull ourselves way to descend (a short but steep hike) to the gorgeous beachfront. MC is at the restful end of the beautiful and pleasurably walkable Grand Anse Beach. There is a charming beachside restaurant, chaises with umbrellas, hobie cats, kayaks, etc. The lobby pool is refreshing (though the constant canned music in lobby was a bit annoying); breakfast on open-air veranda is generous. We like to explore when we travel and rarely revisit a place, but Mount Cinnamon was so pleasant and relaxing that I suspect we'll return. …
A beautiful boutique resort with beautiful people! The moment we walked in we knew we made the right decision. We were greeted with smiles and welcomes like we were coming home! Nicki, Garrette, Diannethea, Barry, Lincoln, Antonio, Joel, Cecile and Amanda (we know we’ve missed some names) thank you for your attentiveness and genuine kindness! You truly made our visit memorable and FUN!!! Your connection to your guests and one another is very special. Nicki, thank you for sharing your national dish with us, it was amazing! And a memory we’ll always cherish! The resort itself is beautiful…..impeccable grounds with spacious beautiful rooms. Grand Anse beach boasts beautiful soft sand and incredible hues of blue ocean. The breakfast every morning was fantastic with a plentiful selection to accommodate all. Both restaurants (savvy and the beach cabana) are also excellent and offer an extensive and delightful menu (amazing lobster, barracuda, fish tacos and roti). Their gym has recently been renovated and boasts new peloton bikes and treadmills as well as weights. Be sure to take part in the special events….the managers meet and greet evening, the beach bonfire and the field to table dinner, where you will get to experience the true spirit of this island. Thank you for the friendship, laughter and warm welcome. Until we meet again…..cheers from your Canadian family!…
From the minute we walked into the lobby at Mount Cinnamon we felt we had come home to family. Wonderful 12 days exploring the beautiful property, the gorgeous white sand beach, and having excellent farm to table meals at Savvy or the Beach Cabana. Our mission was to relax - mission accomplished. The Cinnamon Suites are first class and the view is spectacular. You get a good workout climbing the steps up to that area and there is always a ride available for those who want it. We moved to a 1 bedroom villa part way through our stay. Great layout with kitchen plus washer/dryer. Excellent wi-fi and comfy king size beds. Everyone from management to security is focused on you having a wonderful time and if you need something, just ask. Congrats to Barry, Diannethea, Garrett, Nicky, Jude and the entire team. Overall, an excellent time away at Mount Cinnamon and the wonderful island of Grenada. Canadians take note! 5 hours direct from Toronto to paradise. We'll be back!…
