Me and my boyfriend stayed here this past month and really enjoyed our time. All the excursions were great and the guides are extremely knowledgeable. Also, as a vegetarian, the kitchen staff were incredibly accommodating in serving me special meals. We highly recommend muyuna!

My husband and I stayed at Muyuna Lodge in November 2016. We stayed for 4days/3nights. The lodge highly exceeded my expectations. From the moment we landed in Iquitos, the staff at Muyuna lodge greeted us at the airport and offered a free transfer to our hotel for the night. They were right on time and picked us up the following...

Muyuna was the highlight of my 6-week trip to South-America. Stayed there for 6 days. My dream was to visit Amazon rainforest and my dream has now come true. Muyuna is probably the best place to see Amazon rainforest wildlife. Due to a location on the shore of a small river away from Amazon rivertraffic, it is a very relaxing...

We went for 4days/3nights. The staff constantly worried to make us feel welcome and ask if there is anything we needed. During boat rides if anybody was feeling sick or unwell their priority was to bring them to the lodge asap so they can feel better (most activities are boat rides). They have a way to communicate with offices if...

So I live in Peru and a buddy turned me on to this place for fishing. I went targeting a certain species but came in the wrong season (they told me I did not listen! Hard headed fisherman) so we went after other species instead and whoa! The best fishing experience in my life! Catching 70-100 pound leviathans in the...

I spent a total of 6 nights and seven days at the Muyuna Lodge. It was the highlight of my trip to Peru. The trip was worth every penny and I wouldn't change a thing. The staff at the lodge were absolutely fantastic and the location was perfect. Everyone was very helpful and accommodating even my specific dietary needs. Our...

I cannot recommend Muyuna Lodge highly enough. From the pre-booking communication to the transport, guides, accommodation, staff and the location, everything was excellent. We were collected on time in Iquitos as arranged then checked-in at their city centre office. The 130km boat journey up river was very pleasant. On arrival we met our guide, Donaldo, who told us what we'd...

This is a well-organized and meticulously maintained Peruvian-owned lodge that employs the residents of San Juan de Yanayacu. The entire experience is wonderful and, quite unexpectedly given the logistical constraints, the meals provided were truly superb (and unique to anywhere else one might travel in Perú, not associated with any GI issues). Their website is excellent in terms of preparing...

My husband & i began the Peru part of our trip with Iquitos & Muyuna in mid sept 2015. After endless research on TA i booked with Muyuna as it...
