We planned our trip around this hotel which we'd booked through Luxury Escapes. We thought we had a bargain luxury experience, which could not be further from the truth. The hotel should be closed and completely refurbished. We could not believe it was rated 15th in the whole of

The location is stunning, but for a hotel only 6 years old its in a terrible state. Concrete and render failing everywhere, grout on all tiles giving way, pool leaking in numerous spots, green mould everywhere in the bathroom, timber decking lifting and growing little mushrooms

Dear Gezzyboy, Thank you very much for sharing the experience of your recent stay at Anantara Uluwatu. I was pleased to read you enjoyed the wonderful hospitality presented by our team. I am sorry to hear about the loss of your sunglasses taken by the monkeys up at the Uluwatu Temple as you mention it is advisable to hide any shiny items when visiting the temple. Thank you again and we look forward to welcoming you back again at Anantara Uluwatu in the near future. Kind Regards Allan & Team.

I always asked my hotel what the fee would be back from X place. Then when the taxi tried to charge me a much higher price I would negotiate and if the price didn't come down I would just pretend to walk away or I would pretend to call another taxi company. They would always bring their prices down to a reasonable price.

Hey there, How much is your car transfer to from Uluwatu to Ubud?
We didn’t go to Ubud. We went to Seminyak and that was about $60 USD for a 10 hour customized tour

Is pool access suite with ocean front view same as ocean pool front suite
The ocean front view only provides you with a jacuzzi whilst the other one has a pool intended only for your suite. I suggest you take the latter if you wish to have more privacy as the common pool gets crowded during the day. Just an additional info, Anantara Uluwatu is just basically a hotel by the cliff giving you that amazing view. If you wish to go to the shore, it is only open at certain hours. If it’s high tide, it is closed. Think twice about this hotel. I had the worst experience. Their staff require more training. Service is below average.
