My husband & I took a trip from Hobart to Cradle Mountain and we needed a place to stay overnight. We were pleasantly surprised to find Forest Walks Lodge when we were looking online. We had chosen Deloraine as the place to stay. Forest Walks Lodge is in a remote destination with beautiful views and extremely warm & comfortable environment....

We spent three nights with Sean and Rosemary with our two teenage kids. The meals were beautiful, local and tasty. The forest walk with Sean was a real highlight. We learnt heaps about the world heritage forest and the history of Tasmania. Rosemary and Sean are great hosts. Their lodge is extremely comfortable with a story to go with each...

Thank you Sean and Rosemary for the perfect place to relax on our honeymoon. This place is just so beautiful, peaceful and private. The food was sensational and my dietary requirements (gluten and dairy free) were dealt with effortlessly. At less than half the price and five times as nice, this place certainly beats Peppers Cradle Mountain Lodge, our other...

Having read the reviews we concur with the views expressed. We stayed two nights in this beautiful location,& enjoyed the excellent meals prepared by Sean on each of these nights. The forest walk ,where the stunning rain forest was brought to life by Sean, with his incredible knowledge of the geology & the fauna was a revelation. We thoroughly recommend a...

We spent 3 nights in this delightful isolated ecolodge and couldn't have been happier. Even though we got soaked through on Sean's walk, it didn't matter. A wonderfully peaceful haven away from the Perth heat, delightful and very interesting hosts, and five star meals just hit the spot! Just read the previous 3 reviews - they say it all. If...

My husband and I spent 2 really special nights at the lodge in January. In this time we explored the area around Deloraine, the Western Tiers visiting the Liffey falls and went on a cave tour nearby. The location of the lodge was very private and looked out over a peaceful valley. The accommodation was most comfortable and the owners...

Forest Walks Lodge is a special place, off the beaten track where you truly can escape into nature. The lodge is genuinely "eco-friendly" with spacious and comfortable rooms from which you can enjoy stunning ever-changing views of the mountain. Aside from that, Sean is an amazing cook, using produce from the garden, and both he and Rosemary are happy to...
