This place is a little paradise. Best about it is the pool with a great view over the lake. When I was there with my boyfriend there were not many guests and we got a bigger room without charging anything.

We spent three nights at La Omaja. The view from the restaurant and the pool over the lake and the volcano is outstanding. The garden is pretty and the houses are very big. The staff is helpful in organizing trips and the owner drove us...More
On my trip to Nicaragua I had the opportunity to stay here 2 nights. We were a party of 3. Although a little rustic the accommodations were excellent, clean and very satisfying. The hotel is owned by a gentleman from Omaha, Nebraska and his Nicaraguan...More

One of the best places I've ever stayed, the views are stunning and give you a glimpse of what paradise could be. Friendly and helpful people. Food is great but a little bit too expensive...Room/bathroom cosy and clean.
And the infinity pool...heaven!

We paid $30 for the taxi ride (to and from) Ojo de Agua and paid the entrance fee in cordobas separately when we got there (approx $3 per person). We spent approx 3 hours there swimming , had lunch and our driver was waiting to take us back. On the way back we had also arranged for him to stop at Playa Santo Domingo ...again we spend 2-3 hours at the beach and he was waiting to take us back to the hotel. Very flexible and hotel will go out of their way to help! Most of the activity prices ranged from $30-50 usd.
