We stayed here for just one night as we were passing through Oxford. Surprisingly it was dog friendly although there is an extra £10 charge which is not on the website and I had to telephone to ask about the extra dog charge. However, at first we were booked into the outside hall but on arrival we were shown to...

Eynsham Hall is set in beautiful, well maintained grounds and is conveniently located near to the Cotswolds, Oxford town centre and some stunning countryside. We stayed in one of the annexe buildings and our room was very well decorated with an Art Deco theme throughout. The room was described as 'cosy' on the website which I agree with although my...

up several flights of stairs and along long corridors to room 31 in the main building which was delightful. I borrow from lynnejonzy .."The room was gorgeous and well stocked with water, cafetière, coffee and biscuits. Reasonably priced mini bar too. Big fluffy bathrobe and big fluffy towels. Reproduction vintage radio set on classical FM. Lovely to go back to"....

Visited on my own as my husband was on a golfing trip. When I booked I was told it would be a cosy double which I believe are rooms in the separate building. To my delight I got an upgrade. The room was gorgeous and well stocked with water , cafetière, coffee and biscuits. Reasonably priced mini bar too. Big...

We stayed three nights as my niece were getting married in Freeland Church. We were 18 family members from 17- 61 of age travelling from Sweden and me and my husband travelled from Singapore. Most of the staff were really friendly and service minded especially the waiter that served in main restaurant 4-5 May. We enjoyed two dinners and were...

As many reviewers have noted, the rooms in the main building are pleasant but the hilariously tiny, basic rooms in the annexes are rudimentary at best. Unfortunately the room I would have chosen was on the second floor of the main building down a long corridor; and as I am not quite able bodied I elected to stay in one...

Was here at a corporate function so had no choice. the main building looks impressive. my bedroom was out back in what looked like a student accommodation block. Staff were curiously inflexible (I had to leave my bag at reception before I could check in and despite it having a tag with my name on it they insisted on me...

Stayed here for two nights. The hall and the grounds are very impressive. We had an amazing room, no. 35 with a big copper bath in it and a beautiful view out of the window. We had dinner on the first night which was really nice, although when we had finished they were no waiters about and we left, not...
