Amazing looking place - unfortunately very small rooms in annex - double bed pushed against wall and still no room to move. Disappointing as the drive to the hotel gives you a false opinion. Eventually moved to another small room but it had been recently renovated.

Room was small but beautiful, clean and lovely bathroom. Staff were very helpful. The only downside was the sauna was not there....as advertised which was one of the reason I booked it. Manager was sorry we were not told in advance and after we had checked out he offered us s an alternative, but we were leaving!. So we found out how???...

I may be slightly biased as we had our wedding here and it was the best day of our lives!! The place is absolutely beautiful. Stunning mix of modern lighting and the original wooden flooring to the huge fireplaces a blaze in the evening. Nothing is too much trouble, the food is fantastic and the rooms are to die for....

Stayed here at the weekend and wow, what a knockout building. As you sweep down the drive you can't help but get excited about the Hall standing proudly ahead of you. Truly a magnificant Hall and gardens. Things started well on arrival too, friendly staff and the most beatiful room overlooking the front drive. However, as the evening progressed it...

We only had a short one night stay whilst seeing a show in Oxford, the building is beautiful, full of Character and I only wish we could have spent longer exploring the grounds. We had a room in the lodge which was a little disappointing for such a grand hall we ended up in a small conference looking room with...

Christmas lunch was disappointing. The turkey and gravy were very salty. The sprouts were the soggiest ever. There was no Yorkshire pudding, no bread sauce . Pudding, supposed to be panna cotta, was more like tasteless milk jelly. Coffee was nearly cold by the time the milk arrived. It was, however, accompanied by a nice little mince pie! Such a...

We booked Eynsham Hall through Travelzoo for a romantic weekend break away at the beginning of December. Told we would stay in a 'Standard Double' although upgrade possible subject to availability. Driving up to Eynsham Hall is really impressive - the main building is beautiful and the interior is wonderfully rustic, with dark wood and a clear 'country house' past....

Stayed a night for my wife's birthday. Driving towards the picturesque hotel we knew we had chosen well. We were greeted by friendly staff who couldn't do enough to help us. The room with en-suit was lovely and cosey. It was clean, stocked with all the essentials and I genuinely couldn't pick a fault with anything. Dinner at the hotel...

Put in the lodge. I've stayed in hotel rooms all over the world most with bathrooms bigger then the double room we were squeezed into. Went to reception to request a different room as we were booked there for 3 nights. Moved to another room within the lodge. Manageress was politely asked for a different room. While my back was...

We Stayed for one night after visiting family. The main hall is very impressive and the setting totally stunning. Unfortunately for us our room was in the lodge. The room was tiny with the double bed pushed up against the wall. The tv was in a ridiculous place and you had to turn sideways in bed to view it. There...
