This was a stay booked by an organisation, not me. On arrival, the receptionist was very pleasant, warm, welcoming, and helpful. With the room, it was clean and tidy, the usual Premier Inn that I expected. The bed was decent, pleasant to lie on, a nice and large double. In the bathroom, there was a bath, which appeared to be... More

We were aware that the hotel could provide noise due to the location near traffic. Yet it was the stampede above us and the loud guests next to us just we had to endure. The walls are so thin you can hear every word. Staff are insensitive and pressing for personal details. Highly unnecessary. Was refused one extra mug in... More

Very happy with my stay at this Premier Inn. Staff were very helpful and professional. Food at the attached Brewers Fayre was good value for money, great service and friendly. Many thanks. Location is good, but close to the main road; however saying that you hear very little traffic as the rooms are very well sound proofed i.e. double windowed.

The guy on reception was excellent and really helpful. However my room on the second floor was big but it was as if they had run out of furniture as half of the room had nothing in it. It certainly felt barren! That combined with the harsh light from the three low energy ceiling lights made it feel, more institution than... More

Clean and comfortable rooms with heating but no ac. Great parking and adjacent restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Hotel has two flights of stairs to top floor with no lift so check room allocation if you have mobility problems

Stayed here one night with two work colleagues. We were all worried when we saw the location (basically on a busy roundabout near a retail park). But when we checked in we were greeted really warmly by the two reception staff members who were really welcoming and helpful, told us where to go, booked a taxi, just lovely. Rooms were... More

Chose the hotel when visiting family in Bristol. Excellent friendly service, clean and tidy, great value, excellent parking, easy to find and no major faults. Just a few niggling annoyances in the room - TV remote was inconsistent; kept banging my head on bedside lamps, bathroom fans upsides and next door noisy. Plenty of food outlets just nearby.

I am furious with the man - who claims he is the manager - on the desk right now this minute. He has annoyed me so much and refuses to allow me to speak to someone else.

I called the other day to ensure I have a quiet room off the ground floor. He did not say the family rooms are only on the ground floor. He marked my booking to the top floor. So what went wrong? He has marked my booking as a double instead of keeping it to a family booking. He said it would be ok as the room could be made into a family room. I am not there yet, but I would check in on Friday and my daughter will have no where to sleep. I would then have to complain and get "someone" to find a bed for her and make it up. WHY HAS THIS HAPPENED?????? I asked him if the "family" bed would be a proper single bed. He said it would be. He then said it would be a sofa bed. I asked him to clarify if it was a proper single bed OR a sofa bed as they are different things. So which is it?? He kept chopping and changing his mind saying it is a proper single bed and it is also a sofa bed. He kept talking over me which got me so angry. I asked him to stop speaking whilst I was speaking.

I did end up swearing at him, that's how angry he made me. He should definitely NOT be on the desk, and I haven't even got there yet!!!

What is my daughter going to be sleeping on? Why was my booking changed?

I have stayed in Premiers so many times over so many years and have never had this negative experience ever before. Premier Inns, what on earth are you doing employing people who have no idea about customer service????? Or the difference between a proper single bed and a sofa bed?????

If I could change my booking or get a refund I would be doing that but I have a non-refundable booking, mores the pity.

I want an urgent and immediate response.
