We had a fabulous couple of nights stay here, lovely property, fantastic rooms and a great full English breakfast. This was better than home from home the hosts were charming and full of information on the area and places to visit. Am hoping to visit again in May next year if they have t sold up and gone.

Primrose Cottage, Lowick Pros: Amazing quaint B&B in the small village of Lowick Cons: Low ceilings in bedroom – watch your head!  Friendly hosts. Clean and nicely decorated. You would never recognize the B & B as a renovated Smithy (Blacksmith shop). They have converted some relics of the Smithy workshop into the decor. Quiet environment. Room was adequate...

Who can resist a welcoming cup of tea and home-baked scones? We couldn't, and we thoroughly enjoyed them both as we chatted to our lovely host on our arrival at Primrose Cottage. We were then shown to a welcoming, comfortable room. This is a lovely B&B with nice touches throughout!

We had an enjoyable one night stay in this lovely B&B back in early August. Found the hosts to be most accommodating. The room we had was comfortable, spacious and clean. There was a good choice of breakfast options and the food was good.

From the moment we entered to the moment we left, our stay at Primrose Cottage was perfect in every way. Friendly, helpful and informative. Spotless room with a real attention to detail. Fantastic breakfast. It certainly exceeded our expectations. Every B & B should be like this one.

We chose to stay here as I was participating in a triathlon in Berwick and also the great reviews helped! Well, we don't have much more to add as all the previous glowing reviews are spot on :-) We were warmly welcomed by Bob with a drink and a delicious home-made scone. Everything throughout our stay was perfect, the breakfasts...

Stayed here 2nd & 3rd August, the warmest of welcomes with lovely tea and fresh scones. Superb accommodation, bright, spotlessly clean, comfortable room. Breakfast was perfect and served by Bob with the brightest of smiles. We were attending a family party in Lowick, probably not the last! So we know where we will be booking the next time.

From the moment that my wife and I arrived at Primrose Cottage we knew that the B&B would live up to our expectations. Other reviews say it all so all I can say is that if you need accommodation in this part of Northumberland you won't be disappointed if you make a booking at this B&B.

Wonderful place to stay. Great value. We were greeted with tea and scones on arrival, our motorbikes were locked securely in the garage for our stay. Spotlessly clean room, great food and wonderful friendly hosts. What more could you need.

This was our 3rd stay in this B & B and it continues to surpass any other places we have stayed in. Bob and Irene are perfect hosts and treated us like friends -I cannot find words to praise higher than I have already said.

Thank Steve D
