Old, reputed and centrally situated hotel .The property is really nice and impressive but room size small and basic. The property is old although renovation is on, the rooms lack modern touch and little expensive considering the rates offered. One can easily get better room and facilities in same rate at hotels in other cities, since the SILCHAR city has...

The hotel is an old property which has not seen the touch of renovation and up-gradation for a long time. The hotel is situated conveniently, well connected with all the main roads of Silchar. Not in a rush are, plenty of parking space. The rooms are old fashioned. Lot of wooden cabinets were cut along the design of the room....

Most parts were under renovation and it seems they are striving for much higher standards. I stayed at this place multiple times during August 2016, due to lack of better options. Rooms are huge and the house keeping is great - linen is old, cockroaches are an issue, bathroom is clean to the best of the staff's ability. Food is...

Nice place to live you cannot have high expectation in this southern Assam's biggest commercial town that connects Tripura, Mizoram and Manipur bordering Bangladesh. In the heart of the town adjacent Deputy Commissioners bungalow.

This is traditionally known as the best hotel of Silchar. It has got a hall, restaurant and a bar. Located in the centre of the city, near railway station as well. Service is good. Food is good. Elegant hotel with very old goodwill among the customers. Renovated recently.

Currently renovations are underway and might take a couple of months. The hotel is good and amaongst the best in Silchar. With rooms for all class, it has something for everyone. The food is good and once renovated, this place might spring back to energy.

We came here for a weekend getaway, years ago, and the whole place just felt so fancy. The location was really good, the rooms clean and plush, and the restaurant pretty impressive, especially if you like North Indian/Mughlai cuisine. If you find yourself with cash to spare in Silchar, this is the place to go.

The room I had was comfortable enough and overlooking Park Road. Comprehensive restaurant menu, attentive service and reasonable quality food. Externally the hotel looks good, but inside needs attention: there were rotting door and window frames and some areas were in need of a lick of emulsion paint. The reception staff weren't familiar with procedures for booking in foreigners....I had...
