Located by the riverside...Diphlu River Lodge stay experience was just perfect...Situated a little away from Kaziranga National park we opted for the Jungle Plan in which the jungle safaris were part of the stay package. The cottages are beautifully done up and provided with everything..every little detail looked into....even milk in the fridge instead of the regular milk powder. The...

Diphlu River Lodge - Kaziranga had long been on our list of must do's for many years and this year we were successful in planning out a sojourn to the North East of India and Kaziranga was our priority destination. On checking with friends Diphlu River Lodge (the lodge gets its name as its located on the banks of the...

You may find nothing "luxurious" about this place..however with their quintessential set up, they try running this beautiful property with support of their amazing staff to offer you the best hospitality you can imagine in places like this. The food is a big and the only minus but I must say it isn't inedible ...just not worth the price, you may...

We thank you for your very useful observations on our lodge. We will definitely strive to further enhance our culinary expertise on offer as well as explore further areas of interest for our guests, other than the excursions into the National Park. Thank you again from our team at the lodge.

First time in India, traveling with our 8yo and 5 yo, we are experienced Africa hands that wanted a wildlife focused trip and nice accommodation. Diphlu over delivered on everything, food was great, park trips were exceptional, helped by a very knowledgeable guide. We came for the park and the wildlife - which was stunning, but the lodge's home for...

We stayed for couple of nights here. The lodge is beautiful, food is good . Our lodge faced the river and was very peaceful. There was a dance performance on one of the nights with a bonfire and great food, which was a delight to watch. The safari trips are very well organised and they also arrange a trip down...

Good enough for a royal couple... The lodge is very nice, try and get a cabin facing the river. We sat on the deck and were treated to monkeys playing in the "front yard" as well as storks wandering around. Also hot to watch local fisherman in the river and all of that was from the deck in front of...

As a couple we stayed at this location as party of a party of eight. This River Lodge I would rate very highly, lovely accommodation , staff who were very friendly and a fantastic menu. Room 5 is the best on site if you want to follow in the steps of Kate & Wills. Loved the place, a haven after...

At first we were a bit worried about the price, it seemed quite steep compared with other options in Kaziranga. However when we did the math we found that the "all inclusive" deal is actually quite useful. The hotel provides 2 free safari rides into the forest, along with excellent driver and the guide. The food in the lodge is...

Diphlu River Lodge is a gem of a resort at Kaziranga National Park. We stayed here for 5-days during our recent trip to Kaziranga and are delighted with almost every aspect of this resort including accommodation, safaris, staff, food and overall experience it offers. Without a doubt, this has been the best wildlife resort that I’ve been to till now....

Excellent rooms, great location, good food, fabulous staff, knowledgeable naturalists...so on We had a nice cottage on the river side, it was a wonderful experience. The camp fire on one of the evenings was a pleasant surprise, it was articulated by Mr. Ronish Roy, the GM of the property. The camp fire was garlanded with the Bihu dance ( a...

Diphlu River Lodge is the only lodge at Kaziranga National Park that is situated right at the border of the park. We offer all-inclusive stays from three to ten days. Our well-trained naturalists take you out into the park by jeep, elephant or even on foot. We also offer jungle and river walks, village visits and boat rides on the Brahmaputra river where you may also get to view the rare Gangetic River Dolphin. With only twelve twin-bedded cottages, eight of which are individual and four semi-detached, Diphlu River Lodge is intimate in size and built using natural materials (like bamboo, thatch, etc.). Besides comfortable beds, each cottage has a pleasant sit-out as well as a writing desk, mini-bar and a small fridge. A complimentary selection of tea and coffee and an electric kettle is also at hand for when you need a cuppa.
