We loved our time at this hotel! Just spent 4 nights there and were very happy with everything. The staff is wonderful and extremely helpful. The food was delicious, pool and rooms were very clean, listening to the waves and birds while eating breakfast in the mornings was great and I will miss it. We did a lot of activities...

We landed in San Jose at 4:00 and did not want to make the drive all the way to Quepos at night so we found Hotel Carara. Looking at the reviews I would say the highs out weigh the lows. The grounds are very nice, the pool is lovely and the restaurant was a welcomed sight after what we passed...

The hotel is located in Tarcoles, not in Jaco as it stated on our Expedia reservation - nevertheless it did worth to go back and forth, because this hotel has a great location and the nicest view of the ocean. Friendly staff, some speak good English, but everybody makes you feel welcomed. We ate the best fish in Costa Rica...

This is a very convenient hotel close to the crock tours I think the best place to see them wild and good prices specially for families. Located in a typical costarican town so people help you all the time. Very good typical food.

The minimal cost to upgrade to a/c and beach view made this a mini-haven in the midst of a hot day! Super friendly staff and guests, breakfast typical, they even stored our refrigerated food for us and froze our ice packs. Scarlet macaws so close and frequently seen!! It is a quiet little town, safe and slow pace, very convenient...

Àfter a long driving and exploring day was looking forward to resting in a longe chair by the beach at the hotel. The roadway in depicted the lifestyle surrounds. The first impression of hotel was a run down appearance. The room location was the only positive feature as it was at the back end corner with a view by the...

After a whirlwind 6 day trip of Costa Rica from San Jose East to Irazú Volcano, Guyabo National Monument and Turrialba for white water rafting, and then North to La Fortuna for hot springs, waterfalls and hiking, and then down to Monteverde for zip lining, it was finally time to spend our last day in Costa Rica enjoying the heat...

We had a planned stop here and when we pulled up were a little hesitant as it was in a small community (had been in more touristy parts) with nothing (nightlife) really to do. Once we were in our room though with the ocean view balcony it was worth it. The beach, kind of dirty, however no one is on...

Well we stayed here one night out of necessity. It wasn't bad. had an odd smell, but rooms were fairly clean and the pool was clean and warm. We had some trouble with the tv and internet due to the rain, but once the rain passed we were fine. The owner lives on premises and was super nice and swam...
