I love Manga Rosa style, the rooms are big with comfortable beds. One of the best things is the view to the majestic Pacific Ocean! The property is located in the limit of Carara National Park (this park is know for being the home of tons of Scarlet Macaws), so is guarantee that you will see a Scarlet Macaw :)

Beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean and the mountains. What a hidden gem in the rain forest. The nature and wild life is something to see. Maccaws and Tucans nest at this hotel. I can hear howler monkeys in the distance. I will return many times...glad I found this place.

We spent our vacation on the beach in the Esterillos area further south and were looking for a place closer to the airport and with a jungle feel for our last night. We found the Manga Rosa on the Internet and made a reservation through their website. We got an email confirmation but it didn’t require a deposit, which was...

The central pacific has many beautiful places to stay but Manga Rosa has a very warm location. The rooms are very clean and the staff that works here is very professional. The amazing breathtaking ocean views are just unique, and the restaurant service is excellent. I want to recommend this hotel to all travelers that want to stay next to...

We arrived 27th of August 2015 to be told by the new owner that they haven't received our reservation and that he didn't have the ability to receive the payment we paid through via a reputable website. We were turned away at the door after travelling 4 hours from Santa Teresa in a truly bizarre experience had to find alternative...

The owners of this place were extremely accommodating and VERY nice. The views are incredible and the place is very natural feeling. I would...

We were greated with a glass of wine and made to feel completely at home. My husband and I were the second guests after the hotel came into new management. The hosts, Lisa, Miles and Ray were lovely and went the extra mile to make our trip special. We stayed in a room on the second floor which had a...

you absolutely need a car, you need to bring your own food, and it is a hostel not a hotel by any stretch of the imagination. Also note that we are not high maintenance or fussy people. We book this hotel as part of our honeymoon over Christmas break. I'll break it into areas: Check in: Upon arrival, the cleaning...

Where do I start? This was hands-down the worst hotel/motel experience we've ever had! The pictures of the hotel really draw you in but that is where the fun stops. The 'hotel' seems to be someone's home that is being billed as a boutique hotel (5 rooms total) and one night was more than enough. Firstly, when we arrived there...
