Stayed here on business for one night only which was a shame. Lovely bavarian lodge hotel which is really well cared for. The room I had was very large, clean and well appointed with a nice view of forests and fields with horses. The main view of the mountains from the terrace (where ones evening meal can be had) is...

Loved this place, nice room, friendly, helpful staff and wonderful food at a reasonable price. Good WiFi. All the dishes we had in the evening were excellent and the cheerful waiter really added to the occasion. Its a bit in "the middle of nowhere" but if that suits then you should stay here

Enjoy wide views of the Alps, plenty of parking, knowledgeable and friendly staff, included breakfast buffet (with the views), large rooms (windows have screens, so they can be left open), cozy - Bavarian style (plenty of woodwork) decorated public areas and rooms.....what else can one ask for? Conveniently located on the way to Italy/Austria, this will become our favorite "layover"...

We had only one night in route from Munich to Salzburg, and enjoyed the beauty and peacefulness of this hotel. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. We hadn't realized the elevator goes only to the second floor (European first) and our room was on the third, so entailed one flight of stairs. The staff kindly transported our luggage for...

We stayed for one night on our way from Munich to Zell am See and we found it very convenient. The dinner was excellent - I went for the smaller portion but it was still a plateful! Breakfast was also good. On the way back to Munich a week later we dropped in again for lunch which we also enjoyed...

I stayed here for a wedding which was being held at the hotel. The room was perfect in traditional Bavarian style and the view of the Alps from my balcony was amazing. Breakfast was very good, there's a terrace you can eat on in good weather. Plenty of parking but I think public transport would be a problem. They hosted...

We spent two nights at the Berghotel Aschbach for a relatives wedding. The location is fantastic, overlooking the mountains. The hotel is on the ST2078 road from Munich to Rosenheim and very easy to find. It's set in its own grounds and half a mile or so from the nearby town. The hotel offers free Wi-Fi which we found to...

We attended a wedding here just over a week ago (German bride, Welsh groom) and were blown away with the location of this hotel and its quality.
